The same thread that you believe shouldn't even be open and is all based on bull from a less than reputable source and will do nothing but bring out the worst in people?

I’m a huge Hot Rod fan. Do you have a chance to bring Hot Rod in at some point?
[Laughs] As you know, we always introduce new characters. The tricky part is if you introduce too many, the narrative starts falling apart. But he’s definitely a character we like too is the answer to that. But until we know the story, it’s hard to say what’ll come in and what won’t.

The budget doesn't even exist for that.
Exactly. For the life of me i can't understand how people who want a live action transformer movie 90% transformers and 10% humans can't figure this out. What's even more comical is to this day, no one can seem to respond to this either.
After making it clear he will not be directing the next “Transformers” pic, Michael Bay may have found a project that doesn’t involve larger-than-life robots.
[...]
Bay said in August that while the next “Transformers” is already dated, he would not be returning to direct, and while this film will not feature the same elements, it still fits into his wheelhouse of action-heavy material
Bay said he believes he'll hand directing duties on Transformers 5 over to someone else so he can work on other projects, such as a documentary about elephant poaching. "There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," said Bay, who's helmed all four live-action Transformers flicks. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."

He must be sick of Transformers by now so fair play to him. This should allow the films to evolve ( or transform if you please), build on what is good and replace elements that need replacing.
Edit: Actually, I think this is false. A docu on elephant poaching seems like such a huge change for him that I dont see it being true.
The tricky part is if you introduce too many, the narrative starts falling apart.
