Sorry, I meant on my want list too. Not a specific leak or anything.

Dreadbot is a retooled Crowbar, so deluxe like him. Onslaught could be a reshelled Long Haul, so voyager, and I don't think they could justify him at leader anyways. Berserker was also deluxe, as a remold of Crankcase, but we essentially already got his SS thanks to TLK, which was repainted/retooled for SS as Crankcase and Crowbar.

I also still want a combiner or Commander Infernocus

If we're going strictly on scale, Onslaught could be a leader like DoTM Megatron was. Maybe a bit shorter than say The Fallen, but definitely there in mass. He was a big boy. Now if we take leader slots in a wave into consideration, then yeah, unfortunately he may be the 1st on the chopping block. We still need leader dinos to go with Grimlock, after all.

No, they really weren't as big as you are remembering. Onslaught was only a bit bulkier and bigger than Ironhide, like a shorter stockier Optimus.

We do still need the remaining 3 leader Dinos.

Infernocus was 6 guys combining, so we would need 3 deluxe molds: 2 for torsos, 1 to form the 4 limbs, that might be my ideal thought there. Or maybe a voyager and 5 deluxes were the deluxe also has a half assed mode to build up the upper torso behind the voyager.

I gotta rewatch TLK now...

For Infernocus doing what they did for Devastator would be the way to go.

Much as I agree, I just don't think Infernocus has that much appeal despite how much I enjoy him. That's why I think 1 voyager and 1 deluxe mold that you can use 5 times for limbs and a beefier back would fit him. 2 molds, a complete combiner.

6 deluxes but all have the exact same bot mode, NO INDIVIDUAL ALT MODE, and each have their own dedicated part in the combiner. All in a commander priced box set. All in a Titan priced box set (add a big Quintessa action figure to really round up the price to Titan.).

That would be the perfect TLK SS Infernocus.

More six changers for me. Looking at the triple pack of three bumblebees car/offroad/jet, let's just have a Swiss army knife of a bot like Rid megatron. Being used to one sucky mode on a two mode bot really lessens the blow if one of 6th (or 20th) modes kinda sucks.

Why a big Quintessa? Wasn't she human size the whole movie just with a bundle of tentacles where her legs should be?

If we ever got a new Infernocus I really want it to be based on some of the concept art, not the stump-armed movie design. One design gives him four arms and another gives him long legs with clawed feet. I think they could do something fun without being entirely tied to the movie.

It was Dragonstorm who was formed by the 12 Knights (or probably less; both scenes he appeared had one Knight separated or two dead). I'd also probably include them/him on the "impossible wishlist", since it'd be a) very hard to pull off a screen-accurate look, and b) the first Titan in Studio Series for the correct scale.

But yeah, I agree; more multi-form Transformers beyond Triple Changers would be nice. Probably hard with the current budget rules, though.

I would still call that within human height (in the NBA anyway, Shia Lebeouf isn't very tall). You can't exactly measure her height from the tip of the tentacles.

Here's an idea that I find neat.

EVERGREEN TITANS

You know those cheap and simplified Transformers that are really big and cheap for their class but are hollow and simple?



Well, Titans could be done. They would be the same size as actual titans. They could do Metroplex and Trypticon. Of course, they would be hollow at all the key places, they would be simplified at the bare minimum, and because they would be so light, no true ratchet mechanism would be necessary.

They almost did it with that huge-ass 1-step AoE Bumblebee. It was even reissued in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line and those things did sold pretty quickly. They did it in R.I.D too.



So I don't think cheap but still sizeable and good looking Titans would be a stretch. Their price would be no more than a Commander if they are big enough. Or even leader class price if they are just a wee bit smaller than your standard titan.

Because of the space those things will take most would be sold online in brown boxes I guess.

The Former Supreme Class immediately came to mind. Keeping the cost down by sharing engineering with smaller figures. All new molds being something that always affects pricing. So this could be a work around. Trypticon retool via Grimlock, that kind of thing.

Like they did for both Mega 1-Step Bumblebees. Yeah, I can see this happening. It still doesn't rule out new molds though. Especially for G1 Metroplex who is basically just a series of boxes strung together.

That sad excuse for a Fortmax aside, they could make a cheapo Metroplex based on the general idea of the original. However for the thing to cost the price of a leader, they would have no choice but to make a new mold from scratch.

I remember a 4 foot tall ninja turtle from like 2013-2015? It was almost completely hollow. Cost about $70. Had articulation in just the arms and head, and you could store toys inside it. If you want to keep the transformation simple and have a BIG toy then that would be the way to go. A Metroplex that is hollow in the legs and chest so you can store toys inside maybe. Transforms very similarly to the titan one except even more simplified. Maybe it just does the city mode and robot mode, no battle platform mode. Could do the same thing with Trypticon, though Trypticon practically does that already since he's mostly a hollow sausage.
