- Legs are fine after bouncing on the springs for a while. If anything I over did it, because I couldn't feel a difference until I reassembled him.
- Chest door is not tight, but does not hang open. Clearly NOT warped. Full-Tilt's attachment is likewise fine.
- Tail ramp is completely loose with no tabs or friction - it goes wherever gravity takes it.
My big problem, though is the tail itself. I think I must have done something wrong to it. It now takes an incredible amount of force to move out of ship-position, and is completely loose (cannot hold itself up) when it's not in ship position. I feel I must have irreparably damaged it, but for the life of me, I cannot find any sort of button release I was supposed to be using to unlock it.
I too received my Trypticon from HTS. Batch number 71351.
- Legs were fine, however, I did the spring fix anyway.
- Tail ramp is just fine. Holds in place.
- Chest door refused to lock in place. I was able to tighten a screw on the body which helped. I also close it one side at a time. Stays put, doesn't hang.
- Tail was very droopy after the first movement. One click was all it took for it to sag. I went ahead and did the tail fix (
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/titans-return-trypticon-tail-fix.1120326/ ), which improves the movement and holds it in place regardless of positioning. Lost much of the scary ratchet click though. Unfortunately, I lost two of the screws from the main body in the process.
Due to my limited knowledge regarding hardware (see losing screws above), does anyone know what kind of screws were used on Trypticon's main body? I'm very certain I won't find those small screws, so I will have to buy replacements. Any help would be most appreciated.
