Noice! I always wanted the Energon Omega Supreme as a kid. He looks so awesome.
I must admit I've never liked G1 OS. His robot design is pretty damn cool, but as a Transformer he takes suspension of disbelief just too far. Like, he's a rocket base with a tank, and a rocket (which is formed from just his arms) and then the rocket takes off...and lands on another planet...and then transforms into a whole Omega Supreme again...despite being made of just his arms and the rest of his body being back on Earth. Just seems a bit...silly to me. Energon Omega at least made every part of him self-propelled. The best OS IMO is a toss up between Animated and WFC, both of which just straight up turned into spacecraft. The winner I think is Animated because the reveal of him being the Ark was awesome.

Sigh..................
Second, I'm with you 100%. I always wanted an Omega Supreme as a kid in the 1980's. Of course, that never happen being too poor. Just recently I said "why not" and decided to finally buy one despite the price. Just to make sure I watched a video review.
Dat transformation...

G1 Omega Supreme is not a transformers. It's a freaking LEGO SET. So I skipped. I'm also not interested in any 3P offerings. The only reason I bought the Maketoys upgrade for my YOTS Omega Supreme was because it was only 20$US as part of a shipping deal on the Maketoys store. (Still available by the way.) I recently got the Energon original because it's different enough, was reasonably priced, and is awesome in bot mode next to the Omega "city".
I honestly think Energon Spreem is the perfect Omega. It's logic and flying battleships à-la Captain Herlock / Yamato is always awesome.
As for the Animated one, too bad it was never made in toy form. Even by a 3P.
