Yeah, that's pretty much the gold standard for weapon integration/storage. I disagree with this Arcee because the swords are still not hidden, they're "stored" in plain sight and it takes away from the aesthetic of the alt mode. You know which Arcee did it much better? I grew up with G1 so I really dont care much about parts storage.
Carnivius_Prime wrote:There seems to be quite a few different opinions on what is sensible and logical weapon storage.
Are we counting alt-mode integration as storage? I mean for example, I love how the Buster Prime and later versions take the RotF Prime fuel tanks and turn them into a gun but if you lose the gun you lose a noticable part of the alt-mode too.
Kurona wrote:It depends on what you like, I guess. For me personally I prefer it when the weapon's integrated in some way -- hiding it away or just making it a general gun of the alt-mode is cool and all, but it's really cool when they can do something clever with it. Like, as noted above, Rewind's stylus or Soundwave's batteries. Those sort of things are really cool touches to me.

MP-10's gun storage, yes. But there's nowhere for that axe to go so....Desslok2201 wrote:How about MP-10 or Cybertron Wing Saber?
Bludgeon! Yes! His weapon integration was brilliant.Carnivius_Prime wrote:RotF Bludgeon.

Mmmm yes. That Megatron is a very impressive specimen.Ig89ninja wrote:Interesting, but did you consider how perfectly DOTM Megatron's fusion cannon integrates into his alt-mode?
