Like other Club members, the staff gets the same email announcements from the Club itself. Since the Club is the primary source, the staff tends to prefer crediting the original source and doing so when said original source gives them the info.Bounti76 wrote:Not to be picky....a lot....but I emailed the news staff about this almost 24 hours ago....did I email the wrong address (news@seibertron (dot) com)?

Issue 60 of the TCC Magazine will be hitting mailboxes very soon. Some GREAT features this issue! Jim Sorenson concludes the 30th anniversary article series with a look at the Aligned Universe. We have Part 2 of the Unreleased Generation 2 feature. Lord Imperious Delirious and his Destructons go toe to toe with Rampage and Transmutate in the final story chapter of "Alone Together”. Oh, and oh yeah, EVERYTHING you thought you knew about the last ten years CHANGES!

Not likely since these designs are the original designs of the Destructons from the Blackthorne comics and not based on any toys. The Destructons don't transform, either. They're featured here since they've been pivotal characters in this year's six-part Club magazine comic story "Alone Together".Va'al wrote:Recently tweeted from the official Transformers Collectors' Club account is the cover image for the 60th issue of their magazine. And who does it feature? The Destructons. Check out the mirrored image below, and let us know what you make of it - could there be toys in the Club's plans for the future?

Sabrblade wrote:At the BotCon Retrospective Panel at this year's con, there were 20 concepts shown for toy ideas that the Club had had for exclusives, but were never made. The first 10 were ideas that never got past conception, and the secone 10 were ones that were approved but then rejected. In the second group were two concepts for a Bruton toy. One was to have been made from the Generations FOC Voyager Grimlock mold, and the other was to have been made from the Prime First Edition Voyager Bulkhead mold. But both were canned due to Bruton being considered far too obscure to be desirable.
And seeing as how neither of these molds would really do Bruton proper justice, I'm glad neither were made.
Also, just for funsies, have some nightmare fuel:
