Yeah, not the guy who wrote the article or asked WJ88 to go look. No, please, seriously. Don't. I couldn't possibly.
(Seriously though, good work Will!)

A Devastator made from 6 Voyagers would dwarf all the other combiners in the line, which I find unappealing. If they were all Deluxes or between Deluxe and Voyager (with a possible 7th figure as Prowl) I'd be more accepting. We'll chalk up the price to Toys 'R Us' shenanigans

If you Break it down like that it makes perfect sense. I don't have a problem with the size if 5 or six voyagers were to form Devastator. He would not quite be as tall as Metroplex.

Guessing the States version will cost much cheaper than the Canadian price. Like how cheap Hasbro in the states was selling Titan Metroplex a few years ago.
Hoping TRU in the states is not the only retail store selling this. As TRU in the states often charges high mark ups for exclusive TF toys.
Wishing everyone in the states and most sites sell Titan Devastator, So the price isn't that high.
Going to jump the gun, Half a year ahead in 2015. By guessing that Titan Devastator will get recolored in G-2 and Diaclone colors, become SDCC and Amazon.com exclusives.
This year is Combiner Wars, not City Wars.Ultra Markus wrote:hmm......... a titan devastaor? really? what about a titan scorponok or trypticon?
dont get me wrong that would be cool to see but........you know..........

Six Voyagers won't make a Metroplex-sized toy when combined in Devastator's configuration. "Titan class" ain't necessarily one specific size. Look at how varying the size of "Supreme class" has been.Ultra Markus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This year is Combiner Wars, not City Wars.Ultra Markus wrote:hmm......... a titan devastaor? really? what about a titan scorponok or trypticon?

then we dont need a city sized devastator

Whoops, I meant Ultimate class, sorry.Ultra Markus wrote:um... i have most all the supreme class tfs that came out over the years and they are all pretty much the same size
Fort Max is not a Titan class. He predates size classes. Metroplex is the only official Titan class toy, and Devastator will go to show how Metroplex's size isn't the standard for the class.Ultra Markus wrote:and there have only been 2 toys in the history of Transformers that are titan class the first which i dont think was refereed as a titan and the second which was the only one called a titan im talking about Fortress maximus and Metroplex

2007/ROTF Ultimate Bumblebee and DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime are the same size class but very different sizes.Fort Max is not a Titan class. He predates size classes. Isn't that usually the case for irregularly-sized toys that don't fit the normal standard?Ultra Markus wrote:what ever dude its only titan because of the price then,

Fascinating. I wonder if a 33% markup is standard for all their TF toys? That in and of itself provides very interesting insight to the retailer cost of any TF.
I have always been under the impression that all retail does a 100% markup.
Very interesting.
