i forgot who said it, but it is interesting that they can make a 'bot from the movie that looks nothing like the 'bot from said movie. It can't be that difficult to make good TFs---just look at all the 3rd party folks out there that are making amazing TFs. And we are stuck with a company that puts rediculously oversized cheesy weapon systems on robots that might look sorta like they are supposed to look. add in piss poor color choices and viola...a piece of plastic crap!

that being said....I will buy it, and the eventual wheeljack redo. I buy them simply to have the basic characters from the movies, and thats pretty much it for the movie line (and the Animated..but thats just cuz I think that is a rediculous concept....anime..bleah)

I like it. Besides, a g1 style deco and head is set for release in the Movie Trilogy line. We seem to be too critical about these figures. If Hasbro only catered to us fans Transformers may have been dead by now.

A repaint of him is suppose to be released with a G1 looking head and paint scheme. Ugly as his face is I will probably get him along with the repaint.

Hey, this guys is ugly, BUT he does come with what looks like a power drill, and that is pure win in my book. I'd buy him just for that....if I hadn't already sworn off buying anything over Cyberverse classes for this movie, and Prime wasn't already making it's way out.

I like him; at least he's fairly screen accurate for a (to be) newly released DOTM figure! ^^

(Heaven knows why people are whining about the fact he doesn't look like the G1 Wheeljack or similar...Bit of a hint; he isn't! He's DOTM! XD)

But I do agree with the downsizing of the DOTM line and for it to accommodate the Mech-Tech system, I don't like it (though I understand why). It basically means that *these* Deluxes don't look right next to the M1/ROTF Deluxes, for example. (Slightly obsessed with scale, so the former will never co-mingle with the latter!)

As for the Mech-Tech, I don't actually mind it (heck, the first Movie Leader Megatron has a 'Mech-Tech-y' weapon for his arm...Basically the same thing that Voyager Shockwave has), but I think they could've done the DOTM Deluxe/Voyager/Leader (SP) figures to match the scales of the previous lines as well, no problem...Not as if Hasbro/T-T are short on cash, right? :roll:

Seriously Hasbro, I know a metric $H!T-ton of money is a good thing, but you could have stopped this one! :lol:

And if anyone wants to give me the old "Geewunners" speech, save it! I have figures from every iteration of Transformers, this guy was a wash to begin with and his toy couldn't be saved by a red and white paint job, huge spoiler, Lancia stickers AND a G1 head. It sucks! My opinion, I'm allowed to dislike a Transformer.

Hooray, GetRightRobot representin the sane. I actually like his vehicle mode though, just because the car itself is pretty sweet in real life.
