Well, I've got four limbs, now I just need a torso...

I found the Wave 1 Deluxe limb-bots at both TRU and Target (got them at Target because cheaper), but neither store had any torso-bots.

I like the Deluxes. They give me warm fuzzy nostalgic feelings, with their old-school look and simple transformations.

An article just came up showing Galvatronus in the mobile game.

We cant see the head well but it gives us an idea of how the CW Cyclonus torso mode will look like. What's important to me is that it shows that the limbs used are just the limbs that will be coming out, nothing new. He seems to be a stand alone torso. Which makes sense since Hasbro said we'd get 4 sets of combiner limbs in the year but more than 4 voyagers (which would turn into torsos).

Huh, well, from a design standpoint, I like this a lot. From a story standpoint, I'm honestly not sure how this'll fit into Combiner Wars.

It looks okay, but like Shajaki, it doesn't scream Galvatron to me. Then again, it's Galvatronus.

Like yourself I'm not sure how it'll fit in. I really don't want Cyclonus joining up with Galvatron, he's one of the most well developed TF characters in IDW.

Hasbro will influence the comics to sell toys but the inverse doesnt apply. If the comics are different (like the way Whirl looks), that will not affect a toy's development.

I agree. Really, he has no reason to go back to Galvatron, even as a temporary alliance. True, he had a closer connection to Gal than to Nova, but moreover he's also a very different person since his rebirth. Although he doesn't make excuses for his past actions, his honor and quiet nobility define him more than past friendships.

I just had a thought. What if in the story, after Cyclonus somehow gets combiner powers (if he were to, that is), what if there comes a point in the story where Silverbolt gets injured (not killed, but hurt), and while he's undergoing repairs, Cyclonus steps up to fill in for Silverbolt as a substitute torso?

Not to mention that it's only the Deluxes that get pack-in comics, so Voyagers aren't as required to get some comic appearances.
