Delta Magnus wrote:Smokescreen and Wheeljack just look awful- like, cheap knockoff levels of awful. Wheeljack I'd like if he had more paint to be fair, but poor Smokescreen! At least Wheeljack had a proper reshell- Smokescreen is just Streetwise with a new head and new colours.

Megatron Wolf wrote:Skylynx looks awesome, ive always wanted a g1 skylynx but havent had any luck getting one. This looks like a great stand in. Wheeljack though looks terrible, i was really looking forward to him but now not so much. Looks like a giant white blob, again hasbro ruins a good mold by being cheap.

To be honest, I really like those slots. They aren't visible in shuttle mode (since they face down) while in the other modes they give the wings a more articulated look, as if they can actually flex, bend, and flap.
Sure, they could have made the wings solid with sculpted detail, but it wouldn't look as dynamic. Also, do you know what sculpted detail looks like on white plastic?
Wheeljack.

Ko has as much its place in the hobby as 3p. I would love to see any 3p company sue a ko company over stealing their intellectual property
Nah. Whilst the legality of 3P stuff can be brought into question due to the finicky nature of IP, they are actually doing the engineering and design work themselves- they aren't just cloning HasTak's molds or anything, and all their work is from a tangible point of view original. KO makers on the other hand literally just clone other people's hard work without putting in any original work themselves and profit off of actual, undeniable theft.

If you're okay living with the knowledge that what you have in your collection is a fake, then by all means, be handy, take the easy route.
But me? I take pride in my collection, I want the real thing. If that means I have to wait and hunt longer, then so be it.

You already do this to Alpha Bravo. At least let us have something new that you don't demonize.

Dude, read between the lines...![]()
Don't you see the double standard ? When I bring up KO's I get the sermon about going "off topic". When someone else brings up KO's the mods join in on the debate.![]()
Don't worry, I wont be putting Sky Reign in the toilet. I like the Sky Lynx figure as a stand alone piece. I have no plans on ever using him as a torso. Hopefully 3rd parties come up with an upgrade to make him split in two halves. And Id be totally down for a KO Upsized Sky Lynx in Leader scale.

He does make for a very sexy shuttle and dino-bird; but I don't think that I'll ever take him out of torso mode

Which limbs will you be using with him?

Probably the first '84 team, then I'll probably mix it up with whomever

I'll probably be displaying him with his designated team.

Most of them looked to cheap to me, I'll just be getting Hound

Eh. I think they're fine (except for Wheeljack, he is pretty cheap looking).

I like what they did for trailbreaker, I just don't think his head looks that cool, if I see him in stores, I might change my mind, but the renders just don't do it.

They should have made Red Alert from that mold instead of Smokescreen. And why isn't Trailbreaker shown complete with his remodeled weapon thing behind his head? We've seen everything else pictured here before.
