The Tomy version hopefully could recreate his chrome apps ala G1. This is going to be an expensive 2015

Ah true, though Sega didn't make it easy for themselves with games like sonic 06. Lets just say there are several fan bases that are hard to please

That Prime is whack. The rest look pretty nice though. That Superion is gonna replace the Energon molds with the FP kit for sure. Finally. Now to see if we get a more proper Slingshot down the road. I'm not holding my breath but it would be nice.

OMG the bot kibble on Silverbolt in jet mode looks horrendous!
With that being said they all look pretty good for the most part. If i ever see them at retail i'd be tempted to buy.

Hopefully the inclusion of a brand new Optimus Prime is a sign that they'll stock plenty of this wave.
I read in another thread that that Gen wave got the shaft due to the AOE toys coming.
Maybe with no movie coming, the CW wave 1 will be alright.
Even so, retailers are always slow to restock the toy isles after the holidays.

Yeah, that kibble is pretty bad, although it seems they're trying to play it off as a booster array/FAST pack.
I'm actually kinda digging it, and amusingly enough it's making me feel a lot less hostile towards Uranos. I'd like to see some ShapeWays sets that add "booster" detail to the kibble on CW Silverbolt and TFC's Blackbird, myself.

I'm all right with Silverbolt. His design holds to tradition.
Speaking of kibble and Uranos. Anybody notice Prime is suffering from MP Ultra Magnus butt flap syndrome?

The only thing that could spell trouble is when the new series toys hits. I wonder if we'll still have overstock of AoE stuff to deal with.

Don't know if they have Toys for Tots in the UK, but I'm considering scooping up a good amount of AOE stuff and donating it to charity. It would do us all a favor. Plus it's a tax right off.

I see a lot of people saying that the 08' Universe Silverbolt looks better. The new CW Silverbolt is the best of the two to me, CW Silverbolt is very G1 and is a torso, so it has more to do and looks better doing it.

Here's a thought,
I've noticed that this past years Gen. Deluxes have shrunk a little. They're all a smidge smaller than say, Classics deluxes.
I wonder if the CW deluxe class will be even a little smaller?
Not complaining, just pondering.

That OP is giving off a strong Machine Wars vibe. Love it. I'd like to get a closer look at the combiner joint, I'm curious about the new design.

It's removable, it's missing from the original stock photos from Hasbro of both Prime and Motormaster. Probably doubles as a shield like Silverbolt's gun.
Anyone else notice that the combined robots' heads are stored inside the Voyagers' bodies? You can see Superion's "ears" sticking out of Silverbolt's chest. In the original stock photos from Hasbro it was just two empty holes right below the red in his chest, but they're clearly being filled in in the new photos.

So now as the wait begins for the toys to arrive. We also get the wait for new pics of the second wave. I'll still be surprised if they don't offer the full combiner as a gift set with a pack in comic.
Also any one else feel like this line would of made a good video game?

I should hope not, given they're increasing the prices again.

It might also help that this is a new subline imprint, rather than the third wave of one.

There is no way to make a good video game for combiners. Either you have one player controlling five guys or one player controlling five guys or it becomes a case of "why is it so important to make it combiners anyway?"
