I keep finding more sculpted detail which is really wonderful to look at and I'm adoring playing around with the tank mode even without a turret swivel... but man that waist. Thankfully it doesn't come into play in his leg mode, but gosh I thought everything was being over exaggerated about it and I'd be able to deal with it when I got it but my lord is it terrible. I don't think I'd mind so much if it actually was able to lock in somewhere; it especially messes up the arm mode and all. I'm at least still able to get some cool poses out of Brawl but this is some of the worst design I've seen in-hand so far.

The waist locks in, it just looks bad. I've tried filling in the gap with the combiner peg partially clicked down but then it won't lock in for me.
Kurona wrote:It locks in, but it doesn't lock in well. Maybe it's just mine but it just immediately comes apart as soon as you lift him up. If it did lock in well I'd be able to deal with it, especially the aforementioned combiner peg. He's just really annoying to try and do anything with when the damn waist keeps popping out.

With shelf allotment as a sign of popularity, Ninja Turtles are the hot property right now, and of course all the summer movies are going to be competing for toy sales as well, leaving TF to ride on the popularity of their name value and the RID show.

He's also not saying anything about the prices so be thankful for that.

I really hated it for how it messed up the arm mode too... until I realized i was doig it wrong. The arm mode actually locks in because tat waist is supposed to lock like it does in vehicle mode and not like in robot mode. Here si how it is supposed to look like, it becomes super solid and a nice beefy arm too:
I still hate that joint in robot mode even though it does lock in slightly. Its super awkward and will unlock as I pose him.

Plus, I fond an extra display stand full of TFs today and wanted to share that too. You will noice that there is as much CW as RID. Both are similarly stocked and sell similarly well. And I am still full of Cyclonuses. These pics were all shot this morning:
Kurona wrote:No but see, I've been doing that and it doesn't even try to stay locked in. It looks cool but it doesn't look cool when it comes apart when I literally touch it.

He's a great figure, but that Takara deco is sweet and he comes with a lil buddy. Tough call, but you could get two Hasbro legend figures for that price.Sowndwave76 wrote:Hey all,
Wanting some opinions here;
I'd like to have a Legends Class Shockwave for my UW Bruticus.
I like the look of the TT version, but damn, isn't that around $25?
HTS has him right now for $10.
Anyone think the TT version is worth that price tag??
-edit-
Awesome just saw he's NOT in stock at HTS.
But either way, do I go Hasbro and save the $$?

Go Hasbro. The differences aren't that major, and for the size if the figure, he isn't worth the cost of Takara.
I guess the best way to answer this is to ask yourself how much do you want Cancer? If not at all, go for Hasbro Shockwave. But if you do want Cancer, go for Takara Shockwave.Sowndwave76 wrote:Hey all,
