In the Unite Warriors thread, a character called Ironclad was mentioned, a redeco of Rook using the alternate head, which looks suspiciously like Brawl. That has me thinking, in the original plans, was the Rook mold with the Brawl head originally meant for Bruticus, with the Brawl mold being planned and produced at the last minute?

Yeah, I had mentioned that from reading "Lively Pursuit" and I think posted it here not too long ago. I would have preferred the Rook mold for Brawl, it would have made much more sense.

Considering how many design issues Brawl has, most especially how the chest looks and how the first run didn't have good joints; I wouldn't be surprised at all if the mold was rushed and last-minute. I'm not sure how well I'd take a Brawl out of Rook though, especially when for all it's faults, Brawl makes a wonderful-looking Bruticus leg.

But since he was able to get his own mold, Hasbro must have had enough room in the budget for Brawl's mold after all, with their "just in case" Brawl-headed Rook plans no longer needed.

Given Hasbro's mentality of making Groove a Legends instead of the Deluxe for the sake of having his altmode "make sense with his teammates' altmodes", I can imagine that they were gonna make Blast Off an Aerialbot jet mold a military fighter jet anyway (to better suit his being a "Combaticon"), regardless of their plans for Brawl.

Honestly it annoys me that of the Decepticon combiners, Liokaiser was the only one that had jets. Out of the Decepticons.

As you may remember, Amazon had 2 listings for Victorion, which was very odd. One held steady at $72 while the other fluctuated wildly. The $72 listing is down to $70ish, but the other listing is unavailable. I'd say the stock that was allocated to the lower price ($58 last I checked) is sold out, but it's all the same stock, so not sure what's going on. Bottom line, Victorion's price is back up to $70.

Computron is still $64 and doesn't seem to be dropping. Looks like you'll have to decide to jump on it at that price within the next 12 hours, or roll the dice and hope it drops by more at a future date.

They no longer sell it at 100% markup from manufacturing cost at wholesale. They sell it at 300% markup, minus Amazon's fees. If this is the case, they can sell it discounted at say 65% and still make a greater profit than selling it wholesale.
