Well if it does turn out that Warpath is a repaint of Megatron. I'll just stick with my DX Generations Warpath.
Just a quick question but why do we always yell repaint everytime a rumour of a new figure shows up?. I prefer to be the optimist and hope for a new mold.

Honestly, I'm most excited about Cyclonus, and that's not to disrespect any of the other stuff coming out, but I'm just very excited to have a Cyclonus who's not dwarfed by Whirl and Springer. Plus, Combiner Wars is pricey, so maybe this will be something to look forward to even if my finances do not improve, as I won't feel I *have* to buy whoever combines with him to make him worthwhile.

I wouldn't mind a Legends Megatron repaint, but I'll be disappointed if it's Warpath. He already has a Legends and Deluxe toy. There are so many characters that haven't been revisted since their original run that I would like to see reappear.

Hell, the legends version was good enough for me, then the deluxe came and blew it away. I don't see a Megatron retool making anywhere near as good of a Warpath as that did.
I also don't see a Silverbolt -> Cyclonus being able to come close to touching the deluxe. That figure was awesome and if they'd just given him a fist hole in his left hand would be near perfect.

Hopefully in 2 weeks at ToyFair all the mysteries will be solved.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I think I saw a rumor about a galvatron but can't remember but anyways I prefer a voyager Galvatron in the future

The report from that HK toy event the other week (which so far has been accurate) said that Warpath was a new Legends class figure and that he'd have a green repaint. I can't picture the Megatron figure being remolded into Warpath, there's no way to make that work at all. We'll see G2 Megatron before that (though that could be the Legends Warpath repaint).

That, or Gutcruncher. The 2008 Legends Warpath was redecoed into him. I would totally take a Legends-sized Gutcruncher, seeing as how the Generations Deluxe is perfect in my eyes.

Could be, though I've always thought Gutcruncher looked more like Roadbuster than anyone else, would make a good repaint of that Voyager figure.

I always thought Gutcruncher would be a good retool of a G2 Megatron, since they both have tank modes and robot modes with the cannon over their shoulder. It was a shame that the Classics tank Megatron from way back didn't do the cannon/ shoulder thing since that mold would've been good for a Gutcruncher retool.

What IS the topic for today anyway?

I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

i didnt quite get it at first either. but devy's thread has 40 pages and counting. so it was obviously a good idea, otherwise regular CW news might have slipped through the cracks. which is what i was *politely* trying to get across.Sabrblade wrote:As do those who saw fit to give Devastator his own topic in the first place.Optimizzy wrote:I kinda care.Convoy wrote:shajaki wrote:not trying to be a stickler here, but devastator has his own REALLY popular thread at the moment, to lets try to keep on topic here![]()

Hey, we are (pretty) sure Alpha Bravo is going to repainted into Blades right? Are we? well...
anyway. In addition to a new head, he needs some new arms dontcha think? I mean...Blades was supposed to be a rescue chopper wasn't he? I don't see many of them sporting gigantic missiles...
