Sabrblade wrote:I just had a thought. What if in the story, after Cyclonus somehow gets combiner powers (if he were to, that is), what if there comes a point in the story where Silverbolt gets injured (not killed, but hurt), and while he's undergoing repairs, Cyclonus steps up to fill in for Silverbolt as a substitute torso?
This sounds like a fun enough imaginary scenario to get him and play with him whether it's in the books or not. Thanks SB!Sabrblade wrote:I just had a thought. thats kinda the personal cannon i was building in my head. or kinda like in the marvel comics when megs and ratchet were melded together.Sabrblade wrote:And if it turns out to be that Galvatronus is just Galvatron's spark possessing Cyclonus or something like that, well, it wouldn't be the first time:

Hasbro will influence the comics to sell toys but the inverse doesnt apply. If the comics are different (like the way Whirl looks), that will not affect a toy's development.

I'm really behind in the IDW books but I am enjoying the experience of catching up a lot. Great content.

They're reprinted issues of the relevant story arc. For some of the guys last year it was Dark Cybertron, now it's Combiner Wars.
Also, here's a nice big picture of Galvatronus I screencapped myself.

It Is Him wrote:I was thinking about Defensor and his limbs. For Wave 1, Drag Strip is noticeably taller than guys like Alpha Bravo, so it's kinda awkward to have Drag Strip as anything else other than an arm. What's going to happen when we get Blades, Streetwise and First Aid, who initially show up as repaints in Wave 1 and Wave 2. Are Streetwise and First Aid going to be the same height as Fireflight, Sky Dive, and Blades, or was Drag Strip just a fluke?
If your referring to Drag Strip's height in leg mode, there is a step in his transformation missing from the instructions. The spoiler and back end of the car are hinged and fold up over the back wheels revealing a hidden 5mm port for the foot. This makes his leg mode the same height as everyone else.It Is Him wrote:I was thinking about Defensor and his limbs. Did you flip Drag Strip's bottom section forward to reveal the second foot port? Seems to be the right height when you do that.
