Looks more like missiles to me.

When's the last time we got a huge Megatron or Starscream?
IIRC, the last jumbo bad-guy figure we got was Predaking in Beast Hunters, and being huge is in scale for him.

Sorry for being off topic, but Beast Hunters had other big figures. There was that giant optimus with the dragon circle behind him that Skywarpt just bought. And plus Prime had a Leader Class too, its just that they were called different names like Beast Hunters Beast Tracker Optimus Prime! There was a Leader size Weaponiser Bumblebee too. And to be honest, those toys do kind of give Rated X a point especially since they were all simplified too, targetted at a younger audience (compared to the poweriser and deluxe class) and severely out of scale.

Do you mean vehicle-weapon/accessory integration? Or the fact that he turns into a limb and it doesnt show much in his vehicle mode?

I'm not arguing with that, what I'm saying is it's been almost exclusively Optimus and Bumblebee getting the treatment. It's not the same four, it's the same two.

I'm more interested in why they gave hims a freakin' exhaust pipe as a weapon if they had no intention of integrating it into his vehicle mode.

Yeah me too. I can see the whole "Junkyard gang" idea but the at least deserve some decent weapons that intergrate
Nemesis Primal wrote:I like integrated weapons, but I don't mind them not integrating quite so much if they don't look like they're supposed to be part of the alt mode. (Breakdown's weapon doesn't really integrate, for example, but I can live with that because it's otherwise pretty nifty.)

Why "drone type" and not straight up fighter jet? The Aerialbot jets are there for retooling, and outside of Skydive to Strafe I couldn't think of anything else until the suggestion of using Air Raid as Nightflight. But as they have very different color schemes and Hasbro seems to like to introduce a new character with the old character's colors my hopes that Air Raid will be the mold used may be in vain. Still, I think a jet will be the replacement to the space shuttle which never made sense to me anyway so I have no problem if that happens.

The colour thing is a valid point, but I do see a workaround with that also. It would not be the first time a micromaster got the wrong plane mode.. and the pilot to the Decepticon helicopter base, Skyhopper has at least semi-similar colours, being green and black, so maybe they will use those colours for the repaint/retool of air raid to replace Blast off.. also, if they use HotSpot as the basis for Onslaught, what are the odds they'll recolour Groove and call the recolour Ransack, after the cybertron Basic?

I could see Groove getting a military green paint scheme to fit the group, and Ransack was released with a green deco later in the Cybertron line. I can't imagine Hasbro passing up the opportunity to get kids to purchase an unnecessary figure.
