Wasn't it ruined already with the advent of MP, Ultra, Leader scales?

Big for nothing figures didnt ruin transformers. They just made it a bit silly.

That is quite possibly the most absurd thing I've heard anybody say about a bunch of robots that hide as racecars, bright red trucks, miniature vehicles, space shuttles, tanks, jets, UFOs, and dinosaurs.

I was just telling someone the other day how much I loved the first wave or so of TF and my favorite aspect was the 'robots in disguise' aspect and anything that got... weird after that usually turned me off. All the cybertron vehicles and space ships and future tech cycles... just don't work for me.

However... for some Hypocritical reasons, I ALWAYS give a pass to those first five Dinobots.... Just something about combing the two greatest things to young boys... robots and dinosaurs, they just automatically get a pass.

And just to put icing on the cake... it's not even beast wars where they LOOK like the fuzzy animals with skin or nothing... they go from robots... to ROBOT dinosaurs. No disguise even ATTEMPTED...

I won't lie, this bugged me as a kid and it's a big part of why I didn't get into Transformers until Beast Wars.

Even today, I kinda don't get why vehicles get to be disguiseworthy, but beast modes aren't allowed to pass for real animals (other than the handful of Universe/Generations BW updates).

You are literally the only person I've ever heard with this complaint. >:oP

Let's rewind to the "Ultimate Bumblebee figures of the Movies, which got compliants for 2 reasons:
1) It was AOTHER Bumblebee in a long line of Bumblees,
2) No one seemed to want a Leader Class Bumblebee. (Or, No one wanted a Leader Class Bumblebee when a lweader class fig of Blackout could've been made.)

It's also the one toy that looks like S3 Bee does on the cartoon. I regret passing it up too, but last time I checked ebay it was like 80 bucks, so the hole stays.

That is correct. I bought Alpha Bravo for a purpose which I knew would eventually be fulfilled. Same thing with the suit. You are a smart guy, so I'm surprised you didn't get that analogy.

And in the end, it was Hasbro that won because they got X to buy one (A/B) despite his "hatred" for the mold/character.

I never said I hated the mold. Its vortex all day. If fifteen bucks out of my pocket is that big a deal to you, I dunno what to tell you. People gonna hate cause I can afford to buy figures I dont even like, lol.

Hey if you like huge out of scale versions of the same four kid favorite characters, then go buy them. May your shelves be blessed with dozens of kid sized bumblebees, primes, megatrons and starscreams. Have fun, play safe !

He doesn't hate Alpha Bravo. He just saw a bunch of people like him so Rated X being his typical "outspoken" self decided it would be funny to troll them, because when it comes to Hasbro products, we all know he dislikes them so he's trying a different approach to get his message across.

Of course posting the same pictures across 2-3 different threads just makes it look like a desperate cry for attention. Best solution? Just ignore him. >:oP

With the prices of Transformers in the land Down Under, I suppose it’s understandable why you guys are so critical of someone who buys a figure just for a gag. That’s the real hate right there.

Do I like the character Alpha Bravo?

F**k no !

Do I think it’s worth 15 bucks to have a little harmless fun ?

F**k yeah !

I guess you guys don’t believe in having fun out there. If, anything, I’m obsessed with having fun here. It could be Alpha Bravo. It could be PWTT. It could be Hasbro corporate division. But it’s all fun.

If you want to talk to someone who is “obsessed” with Alpha Bravo, give Va’al a holla.

Now I got a question for you…

Since Burn didn’t want to elaborate on the culture out there, maybe you can…

Google “Butcher’s Harem” and tell me what the hell is going on in Australia ?

Is that what you guys do for fun out there ? (since you say my jokes are so lame) ;)

What a missed opportunity to not put character stats and a bio on the back of those cards that come with CW figures instead of a boring ass product logo.

It just makes sense to me.

Please do this, but use arm forms for all the limbs.

Arm forms or hand mode for the hand/foot piece? I think arm form for legs would be make them a bit too long. Could be wrong. I don't have the figures to be sure.

Your right, hand pieces on leg modes work better. What a smart idea too!

But then, Hasbro would have to print French, Spanish, Italian and German. The added fonts will cost them too much overhead cost in printing.
