I may have missed it, but does he have 3 modes?
Pretty sure he is just robot and gun mode. I think they may have succeeded in making a good Gun-shockwave!
OK, that's all I thought I saw. His gun mode did look a heck of a lot like FoC Shockwave, minus wings. I agree, he is a killer gun. I can't wait to stick him in the hands if a few different bots.
william-james88 wrote:To those asking about Shockwave's size, his size is made to represent how big Bruticus (and the other combiners) get when they combine. He represents the scale you get with mass shifting, as we saw in the G1 show. Tecnically, the combiners are not in scale with their individual toys but you obviously cant make mass shifting in toys form (unless they are non transforming sponge robots you add water to). So instead they have some figures meant to represent scale accurate interpretations of those characters. It's far from a perfect science but it explains Shockwave's size, as well as bringing the rest of the seekers out. It also work with Rodimus, although you get a double explanation with the fact that his toy is also an homage to his micromaster toy from G1 which interacted with Star Convoy, and the latter is homaged through the headsculpt of that white Prime.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Were you talking to me? If so, I'm afraid that I will have to disappoint you. I have no way to take a photo or upload it![]()
Its not difficult to emulate though, as it works with silverbolt too. Simply take the tab on the underside of the wing and affix it too the open slot that menasors sword uses to tab to the gun for vehicle mode, and voila, insta-scabbard

Hellscream9999 wrote:So what is up with the distribution of CW wave 3 online? bbts sold out super quick and still have it up a pre-order scheduled fro getting in this month (of which there are 5 days left) so is that a placeholder or are they actually getting more in? TFsource has them, I dunno how good/reliable they are;
I originally thought that the lack of wave 3 was due to the problem I had with an early hotspot figure I got (covered in rust (has since been fixed by hasbro)), really hoping it isn't, I know it's still early in the year, I just don't want to miss out on them. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Believe it or not Shockwave's gun mode is a flying gun mode. This was shown/explained in the comics and I think on the bio of the original toy. If I remember the cartoon right Bruticus was the only Decepticon to hold Shockwave as a weapon. You always saw it balanced on its grip like a stationary weapon.
Oh yeah, I remember now that Shockwave just turned into a gun and shot bots. I just watched that clip, now thats thw way Shockwave sounds in my head. His voice in the FoC games and Prime never sounded right to me, but i couldn't remeber why. Man, TF is way more fun when logic is thrown out the window.
