I've heard it's going to be a running change too, which will make tracking down the variant a pain....

I remember the Botcon thing said that it was a running change.
I really think that mystery voyager is Victorion's torso bot. It makes sense. and they do not want to reveal her before they are completely ready. After all, the toy takes time to actually put together while the design and comic drawing take much less time.
Unless Victorion comes as a set, which would give us yet another Voyager in addition.mooncake623 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:mooncake623 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:It's the same character just with a different colour. Yep agreed it's prob the Victorion torso, but I think they are probably ready to reveal it they're just waiting for SDCC to do so.

At the same time, if her components are sold individually, there's always the chance of one not finding one or more of her components in stores, resulting in an incomplete combiner.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Unless Victorion comes as a set, which would give us yet another Voyager in addition.
I hope she is sold separately. That would be so difficult for those who use brick and mortar stores to find her. I have never seen a box set at any store that sells Transformers in my life

Target's had them on occasion, like the exclusive Superion Maximus set based off of the Energon set of the same name, but in G1 colors, Universe Constructicons, and most recently that I can remember, Abominus in the Beast Hunters line. Walmart had that Devestator based off of the Energon Constructicons set. So it happens, and in the not too distant past. (Sorry about the names. I hope you can tell which sets I am talking about, though the specific names escape me at the moment...)
All of the ones Agamemnon mentioned were store exclusives.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Agamemnon wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Unless Victorion comes as a set, which would give us yet another Voyager in addition.

The only target around my area has Abominus, but I never saw the others. Of course, Abominus was an exclusive pack and Target was completely overloaded with Predacons rising stuff, so yeah.

Er, just double-checked. Make that 2007.Agamemnon wrote:Wow. 2006 for Classics Devestator? Maybe that is the more distant past.![]()

TFsource has them, I dunno how good/reliable they are;
I originally thought that the lack of wave 3 was due to the problem I had with an early hotspot figure I got (covered in rust (has since been fixed by hasbro)), really hoping it isn't, I know it's still early in the year, I just don't want to miss out on them. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
TFSource is great. I can't compare them because I haven't used anyone else, but their Customer Service dept. is frikkin awesome.

They haven't been spotted at US retail have they? They popped up almost a month ago now overseas, I'd say they're due.ChuckDoggyDawg wrote:Completely unrelated note, anybody else find it odd that Rodimus and Skywarp are coming so early?
