Every G2 fiction has been a direct sequel to some G1 fiction.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Always and forever.william-james88 wrote:Hold the phone. Just my own head canon from all along. I didnt know they were the same guys in the same continuity. Thanks, that clears things up.

Yeah, that's pretty unforgivable. And yet the size class is so good it's hard to resist...
(at least the semi-frequent HTS codes take the bite out of the price hike)

What about the wave 2 2016 combiner wars stuff (sky reign and wreck gar)?
Combiner Wars will run along side Titans Returns at the start. At 5least, that's what they told us in the second session in the Google Hangout w/ Hasbro. Ryan was in the first, maybe he can confirm that. (I'm at work and don't have my notes in front of me)
Well, it may happen at the stores depending on how quickly stock gets purchased, but I doubt they would send out larger waves comprising two series', that would really clutter the shelves or shortchange figures - neither of which would be good for the consumer

It wouldn't be the first time we've seen an overlap in lines.
Depending on how you count mold uses, this is either the 4th or 5th use of the Generations Legends Optimus Prime mold. You now have you selection of colors and two heads, if you haven't been buying them all along like I have. Pipes is has the tightest joints thus far, which is a good thing, and I do like the color blue, another plus. In the end it all comes down to whether or not you want another Legends sized truck sitting on your desk.
I'm shocked that Viper is peg warming. I've never seen that figure at retail. Now his wave mates on the other hand are doing some hardcore peg loitering.fenrir72 wrote:So many Viper and Windchargers and Warpath aalso shelfhanging/warming

I'm a little concerned about the next wave getting stocked.
I've seen a few Powerglides and got mine at retail. You couldn't find Rodimus or Skywarp when those waves first hit and now our shelves are chocking on them. Got a few Warpaths and Grooves hanging around and oddly quite a few Blackjacks. I'm guess BJ got bundled in a later wave to round out the case.fenrir72 wrote:carytheone wrote:I'm shocked that Viper is peg warming. I've never seen that figure at retail. And not a PG on sight. Viper's been that way for sometime now, like when he was released 6 months ago iirc (TRU)
Maybe a testament to Hbs distribution prowess. Like that scout size Windcharger a few years back and TFA Arcee which none of us could find in the retail scene.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Where do you think he ranks among shockwave toys? Do you preffer your Superlink one?

Ya I think Superlink might be my fav so far.
Are you working on a list Billy?![]()
Than I'll give a quick Billy List. But this is just based on what I have in my collection.
1. Superlink Laser Wave - Alt mode is maybe the most interesting laser log to date. Robot mode is great. Big and mean. He could even be a fine stand in for a Classics/Gen Shocky. And I love that big stupid cannon arm.
2. CW Legend Shockwave - Alt mode is so so, great that he can be wielded. Robot mode is aesthetically a really nice update to G1 SW. Great sculpt and nice simple deco that gets the point across, and again really good expressive figure to pose and play with.
3. FoC Shockwave - Alt mode is the worst laser log thus far. Robot mode is good. Neat sculpt, cool head. Good articulation.
4. Prime Cyberverse Shockwave - Worst alt mode of all. What is it? Robot mode is great though. Definitely the most sinister looking character design he's received.

william-james88 wrote:Also, did you ever convert your super link laserwave into his satelite mode?no. All the TFs in that haul got totally over shadowed by the Micromen.
