I have been wondering what they'd make Prime look like in #2. It's a given they'd give all the survivors from the last movie new looks; what they will be is a mystery to me.

Maybe Prime will have the same alt mode, but a more human robot mode (as they adapt themselves to appear less threatening to the indigenous population [us])?

I doubt he will. The trailer tends to be a waste of plastic (their view as well as mine), and would jack the price up considerably.

now that would be the s#it- what if in the 3rd movie they have cyclonus or something along those lines-- wow anything could be possible- do you think they are going to kill off any of the autobots from the frist movie ? in the 2nd movie---- and if so they got to play in someone else- maybe mirage -hound

If they do come out with new looks for the exsisting Transformers in 2 I hope there's some in story reason for the change not like A/E/C were they just have not upgrades for no real f-ing reason.

Well the Decepticons in Energon were actully shown getting Upgraded so I'm cool with them but the Autobots in Energon just started the series in entirely new bodies from their Armada counterparts with no exsplination and it pissed me off.

I don't like the designs for the Transformers movie so I'd love for them to get new forms that don't suck but at the same time I don't want them to get the "Mystery Upgrade" where there's no in story reason for the change in their appearance.

I can't see why they'd leave him looking the same for TFII...ya make more money changing the character's appearances in the retail market......

I've already come to the decision if they do change Prime's appearance, or any of the survivors, I'm not getting them. I liked the first ones as it is. And changing appearances would be for no other reason than to sell more toys. In my opinion it would be better to make a second or third run of 1st movie Primes for those who missed out. I imagine fiscally it wouldn't be very successful. But I will throw my vote in for a trailer to Prime. Heck, I'd even take one that made Prime a Powermaster (G1) or a Super Prime (RID, Armada).

your on to something there if they give prime a trailer in the second movie and make him transform into it- well wait that would'nt be till the 3rd movie -- you know for the big bad finish. but still would be pretty cool to see on the big screen-so i think

You know, come to think of it, why put a new prime in the movie at all when they can just make recolors of the same Prime and call it new.

Did any of the Decepticons besides Starscream survive? I know Jazz was the only Autobot that got killed but the designs and action sequences made it nearly impossible to tell who on the Decepticon side servived and who died. The one's I know about that are defiantly dead are Boncrusher and Megatron allthough I think Megs will be resurected as Galvatron at some point.

It was a bit confuseing.It looked like Devestator and Blackout were killed.Bonecrusher and Megatron did in fact die.Frenzy and Scopernox are questionible.Barricade just uped and drove away and Starscream left.

i know it's still well over a year away- the movie's release. although it's seems very hard to stop thinking whats next.- i'm sure a lot of you can relate.
when thinking about the frist trailers that start to show.
it's hard not to see prime as something even more eye candy then before- maybe i should just try waiting -although i thought maybe someone else out there wanted to talk about the upcoming movie- maybe i must just be thinking to far ahead of the game at the moment--still got a whole year--

There is no Devistator in the movie. I think one of the characters was originally called that because several of the cast went threw different name changes in the different drafts of the script before the movie was finished but the finnal cast list came out as.

Megatron, Starscream, Barricade, Frenzy, Blackout, Scorpinok, Bonecrusher, and Brawl.

Bonecrusher would have been the one that was called Devistator in one of the rough drafts of the script. Frenzy was originally called Soundwave and Blackout was called Vortex. Otheres might have undergone simular name changes but these are the only ones I knew about from reading the leaked script.

The tank that should have been Brawl was named in the text as Devastator. I believe.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you but when are you going to learn to do some research on a topic before talking about it like you know something????

There was "A" Devistator in bays movie.It is the tank that most fans and the toy call Brawl.

That is the way it appeared in the theater release and it is the way it appeared on the DVD release.

While you right a good number of the cast went trew a faw name changes for a few different reasons the name of the Tank in the movie was indeed Devistator.

While theres been some roumers that it was a mistake cause by someone not getting a memo I contend that it was delibrately done by M.Bay himself.

Most fans prefer to call the tank "Brawl" because it was the name givven to him on the toy release but it was not the name givven to the character in the film.

You really need to do some research of your own before trying to correct someone else with bad information.

And I know your going to blame everybody else for the bad info your speading but that excuse is getting old.

devestator --brawl - you guys are getting way off topic- so there's was a name change --"not that big of a deal"- sure it happens in all types of filming.
but in the movie i did see brawl in the captioning -say he's on the way to kick autobot butt at the end of the movie-i will watch it again for the 100th time. but i'm pretty sure he's say "brawl"
so the topic is PRIME and weather or not you think there's going to be a new alt. mode or weather or not there's going to be new names added (((what not))- and your feelings on all this

Perhaps it isn't a big difference but if they had plans to use Devastator the should have called Brawl by the right name in that sense. Now if he his dead they can't manage to use the name again. If the did that would be odd.
