I am less psyched about MP Ultra Magnus compared to Wheeljack and Bumblebee. The more pictures I see of him, the more I am unsatisfied with the proportions and some of the designs. Overall, I think he is a pretty good figure, but there are better qualities about Wheeljack and Bumblebee - making them stellar.

:BOWDOWN: I for one love this model of the Ulta him self and to top it off they him as he was in the G1 cartoon one Robot not two modes. The butt flap does not worry me at all cause it still looks great over all. Plus this is just the prototype and all ready from the last post of the Mp they made some more changes to it that is great >:oP . I do hope that they would reconsider remaking a Hot Rod in scale before he was given the matrix of leadership and that we may be able to put Dainal in the cock pit of hot rod. But you know what....the one transformers masterpiece I wish they would try and make....is Arcee

this is one transformer that was never made other than the 3rd party one.

He certainly is stocky. Maybe it's just the angle of the photograph, but he doesn't seem proportionally tall.

The colors on Ultra Magnus has been chosen very well.

Although he is a bit thicker the last time I have seen him. Like what Nemesis Maximo said, it could just be the angle.

As others have said something looks kind of off with this figure. To me it looks kind off different than the prototype shown before. I guess it's just this ongoing dream of mine that hopefully there is a Generations model of Magnus coming out that maybe nobody knew about in addition to the MP and this was it. Then I could do my happy dance. :KREMZEEK:

Yeah, I'm starting to think it's not he figure itself that's the problem, but the angle, the lighting, the pose it's put in, and the distance away from the figure that pics were taken.

These are far from high quality photos, coupled with an ill-positioned pose.

His legs are too wide apart makes him look wider. taking a picture of the of anything looking down makes it look short. so yes someone please take a got damn better picture! before more people feel the need to make another fat joke. =X

Hi res pics tend to be.......Hi res than actual reality. I'd best suspend judgement until you actually get hold of the fig. Same issue with Tomy Sandstorm. In pics, he looked too bright yellow orange when in reality, not that orangey.
