He doesn't appear to have waist articulation. Not sure if that's make or break for me. Still seems to pull off some toon likeness poses though. Overall, he looks good.

He looks amazing, and $265 is definitely a way better price than what I was afraid he'd be (I was assuming at least $300 USD) but sadly he's out of my budget zone. If I somehow miraculously find him for less than $200 then I might get him, but sadly I don't see myself taking the plunge with the current price.

Appears to come with the same one from Dinobot, but in purple. Same exact price as Dinobot, and for that matter Black Convoy, too. Seems the 28,000 JPY price is the current standard upper price point now (MP-43 Beast Megatron and MP-44 Optimus Prime are the only ones to ever exceed that).

No waist swivel, but he does have a rare ab crunch so that's nice.

Wow, they managed to squeeze an entire faux cockpit in there? The price seems steep but Starscream is starting to look like he's got some good engineering going on while keeping some of the fun of the older MP seeker mould.

Takara Tomy continues to save me money with this "Anime Accurate" nonsense, itself and oxymoron, as the cartoon was riddled with errors.

The rounded off hands and limbs really have destroyed Masterpiece for me. I what sharp edges. I want mechanical detail! They're machines! Take us back to the original MP aesthetic please!

Saying all that, I understand some people like this shift and I'm glad they're enjoying it. Just not for me.

dunno if I can justify the price, you can't help but think that if they really wanted to, they could make a much cheaper version as a voyager in the SS line that would be a great compromise for most G1 fans...

The weird jet undercarriage is not a dealbreaker for me. Especially for a bot that look this AMAZING.

Plus that backpack is impressively small and compact. Those who complained about it may change their mind once they see those pictures.

Once the official Amazon.JP preorders are up, I will SMASH that button! :BOWDOWN:

Still looking good for the most part. Could just be the image on a screen but the blue pops a little too much, in my opinion. Also, the blast effects are cool but, as always, I just don't care for most of the accessories. The sheer amount of faces is cool but they don't all work for me. AAAAAND I'm bummed ther s no coronation gear. That was like the ONE accessory I was hoping for haha!

If Amazon.JP ship to Australia (and it would be surprising if they wouldn't) just order from them when the listing go live. Unless some American store pull a Target, it will be the best price.

What amazes me about just about every Starscream that has come out in the past 5 years from every continuity is that the siege one might be the only one to have a waist swivel. No one else gets one, not even this MP it seems

Guess I haven't watched G1 in a long time to remember/notice that. I also just learned it's intentional due to if you are flying in a squadron of Jets you want to identify who is on your team when you are flying above/beside them. That's why the logo is facing the way it does in jet mode and why it's upside down in robot mode. Regardless I still prefer having the logo not upside down in robot mode myself. It also seems like some toys and media can't decide whether the logo should be right side up or upside down. Ha, ha.
