I like that comparison. Showing the mechanical seams. One of those rare instances when they remind you these are alien robots and not people in robot suits. Before modern iterations gave them "blood" and such..

I enjoy seeing different styles, including the one from the "coronation" scene. But my favourite is the traditional TOEI-Animation style. I think it makes sense that their circuitry and inner-mechanics are hidden under their "skin." (Like people.)

Whenever they show a robot's "insides" it's generally detailed.

Indeed. Actionmasters might have been the bottom of the barrel, toy-wise. Zone was definitely the cartoon equivalent.

All those talking about necessary accessories for Starscream. Just be thankful we haven't had HasTak or a 3P offer up the Zone attachments to the combiners (and Trypticon).

The back is interesting. Looks like the stabilizers don't just fold on top of the wings... they're sandwiched inside of them.

I like that most of the "real" canopy is hidden inside the "fake" one, rather than visibly thrown somewhere on his back.

Looking forward to seeing the new one next to the former one, like MP-10 & 44.

Kinda bummed that the coronation gear isn't included since I never got MP-11 but I feel this Starscream is more for the show than movie. If the price is correct then $265 is doable, I just hope it's not a needlessly complex mess.

Yep, same here. If AmiAmi is asking roughly $203 US, I suspect Amazon will be around $195 and cheaper/faster shipping.

This is going to be really tough to pass up... And I've waited for a long time to have MP SS next to my Megatron and Soundwave.
Sidenote, I personally think MP-44 looks a ton better than MP-10.

Huge thanks to Cyberpath for posting what may not be an exaggeration to call a ton of new official photos (38 of them!) of MP-52 Starscream ver.2.0 in the Seibertron Energon Pub forums! We've got photos from store listings, like from Hobby Link Japan, photos from Dengeki Hobby Web, and photos comparing photos to the cartoon scenes they're based on. It's a lot to look at, showing off all of the ridiculous things this figure can do and all of his accessories. Plus, thanks to the aforementioned store listings we now know the official untaxed Japanese MSRP is ¥28,000 JPY or about $265 USD, but we're already seeing the price as low as $203 USD at AmiAmi and possibly even lower once Amazon Japan gives their global delivery listing price. And if you still find that price too high, well, you've got until June 2021 to save up!

There's a lot to see so I wont take up time gushing about wing storage, the many expression choices, or the ridiculously obscure accessories. Enjoy the phots and let us know what you think in the forums!
