Yup, specifically the clear plastic canopy. Unlike the Stunticons the Moonracer mold's legs do not retract or shorten, so they're just folded back with the foot plugging into a hinged peghole inside the canopy. Snarl kinda has the same thing in his legs for arm mode, except it's all opaque.

Still annoys me to no end that Hun-Gurrr's back legs are backwards for no real reason.

Anatomically speaking, both are correct depending on where the knee and heels are located. PotP is in line with digitigrade movement (at the expense of having no upper leg) meaning he walks on his toes, while G1 is plantigrade using the whole foot instead.

Just picked up the legends class for the second wave, loving all three of them, and also super pleased at the combined mode for Battletrap, he is almost deluxe sized which is awesome.

Found Rippersnapper today at Walmart. he is an awesome toy. It's just odd. I have not seen any wave 2 en masse. Its always one left here-and-there. I guess I should just be happy I'm seeing anything at all.

I've found them in groups a couple times, but never a Moonracer. I have no idea why Hasbro shortpacked her instead of one of the others that will be re-packed later on.

"Girl characters in boy's toy lines don't sell", that's what they want us to believe. On that note, I may or may not get her if I find her, I'm already dedicated to the Dinobots and Dreadwing, I don't need another group to complete

Yeah, I've instructed my family (my son in particular), that if he sees any wave 2 deluxes at a time when I am not with them, go for Moonracer and Blackwing first because they are the short packed ones.

You should be happy, these have not been found outside the US much. I don't think I will see them until April, the time when they were planned to be on shelves.

Some funny musings about Power of the Primes: given the 'Leader Evolution' gimmick and some saying it would have fit Star Saber very well (I certainly agree) and given that Victory was that moment in Japanese G1 where you could really see what would become the Brave Series this got me thinking the following: that it's a shame Transformers toylines nowadays don't have an attached anime like Unicron trilogy did.

Can you imagine how both silly and flat out badass it would have been to see a Brave-style transformation for Orion Pax or Hot Rod? Sure, people would have whined that 'it's not how Primes work' but you know it would have been a visual treat at the very least.

In particular, I find Rodimus to be the most Brave-ish of the Leader Class molds. He reminds me of the likes of Exkaiser or Da Garn.

For those wanting a cartoon-colored Abominus, know that POTP Abominus's head is actually molded in maroon plastic, with the gray helmet simply being paint. So if one were feeling ambitious enough, one could strip the head of its paint, thereby exposing the helmet's natural maroon plastic color, and then one could go back and paint the face gray and the eyes red to get that cartoon-based look for at least just the head.

Just a little guide guys:

If you have Starscream/Elita-1 from their jet modes, you have to flip the arms to hide in order to get a proper jet mode, the combiner ports acts as the thrusters. Instructions doesn't have this so Starscream and Elita-1 are mistransformed for some reason.

I thought it meant mother's day, but spring makes more sense.

We had reported a listing for an upcoming deluxe Wreck-Gar last year in July and only now do we finally have a look at the figure (and further proof at its existence).

Manterax Prime gave us word of this toy appearing on the Transformers page of a Russian version of Facebook with tulips and the Russian word for "March" boldly written in front of him. Definitely an odd way to announce a product.

In the image below you can see that he uses the Combiner Wars Groove mold with a new head. This now brings the tally up to four confirmed non dinobot autobot limbs in Power of the Primes that could be given to the Elita-1 combiner.

Meh. I am quite happy with my Generations and dont need a WreckHar combiner. Someone can have mine.

At first, I was hoping to see if it'd make a great substitute for Wreck-Gar because I can't find the RTS one for a good price. Then I saw that it was a CW Groove mold, and I don't think it works well for WG. Shame because Wreck-Gar is one of my few favorite characters in the G1 cartoon.

You know what we could have gotten out of this Groove mold? TITANS RETURN SIDEWAYS!
