correct, it was combined forms of the fan rendered toys which we have yet to see.

Actually these 3d renderings may precede the fan made toys. Iacon City is where these originated from. The last update he made was 2009.

Shattered Glass jazz or some obscure transformer, or take those mini car robots from RID that all transform the same and repaint jazz every one of them in a box set. (also the a repaint as the soundwave that uses that mold). haha

There have been some supposed leaks of the three combiners from Power of the Primes (Predaking, Abominus and the Dinobot one). I am kinda hoping that they are not real because Predaking looks a bit odd to me.

These were confirmed as retouched Iacon City renders, and nothing to do with actual Hasbro releases.

The two most popular ones I recall from the reveal:


Boss (Perhaps for a Turbomaster combiner with Thunder Clash, Flash, Hurricane, and Scorch)


Braver (for a potential Road Caesar 3-member combiner)


I could see Boss for sure and a Turbomaster combiner would then be easily countered by a Predator combiner using Starscream, Blackwing, and Dreadwind with two others.

While it would be cool there's no possible way to get a turbo master combiner in POTP. Since they are screwing up the waves by having 3 repacks in wave 4 there won't be enough space unless POTP goes longer than 6 waves. Or if they do a box set which is possible but unlikely.

They can chuck extras out via conventions if they wanted too.
Or offer some stuff to Walmart or TRU as exclusives.
There is a small window of time there before the Bumblebee Movie comes out.

I'm really liking that Jazz. Gonna get him to go with Sky Lynx and Wheeljack in my quest for the perfect looking Sky Reign.

From the leaks I saw, those Dinobots really caught my eye. My wallet's gonna be hurting from all these awesome purchases.

I'd be a shame if Predaking really does turn out to be the next Titan class figure. I would've liked it better if he was the same scale as the other combiners. :/

Agreed, I was also hoping that the rumours of Predaking being a titan class combiner were false.

Put me in the category that would have preferred a similar size/style Predaking to all the other 5-member combiners, but alas, it is what it is. Like I said earlier, having one Titan size combiner at each end of my Decepticon combiner shelf will at least look better symmetrically (though I imagine Predaking will be a tad shorter than Devastator, probably really close in size to his original counterpart)

Wasn't really a rumor, he was right there with the other stuff that was leaked. Predaking has almost always been seen as being bigger than the other G1 combiners so he works better as a Titan than Devastator did.



I think Titan class is the best thing they could have done for him.

People keep using that one picture as proof he was bigger, but has he ever been portrayed as such within the actual fiction? That piece - awesome as it is - was a non-narrative pieces put in one of the earlier issues of Dreamwave just to celebrate that the G1 Transformers were back. And then when Predaking appeared in the series itself, he was the same size as Bruticus. I don't remember him being especially large in Sunbow, Marvel or IDW either. Where does the idea he was 'always bigger' come from aside from the toy and that one image?

In the animated series, Predaking was the same size as the other combiners (even seen side-by side with Devastator attacking Broadsides in "The Burden hardest to Bare" in comic fiction, I don't know that Predaking was ever in a comic with any other combiners at the same time...Oh wait, except for one issue of DDP TF vs GI Joe vol.3 (The Art of War), cant remember which issue, but it was a pretty awesome scene, even if my favorite Transformer got taken down off-page, it took three of the most powerful combiners ganging up on him to do it.

He wasn't necessarily bigger everywhere, but his raw power has remained a fair constant in all portrayals... only to be beaten by Sky Lynx

Just goes to show how iconic that image is. I did say almost always, but maybe occasionally would have been more accurate since it's hard to find images from the comics, especially the Japanese ones where apparently he took out Omega Supreme, Defensor, and Superion all at once.

But really, just the original figure alone being bigger than the rest is enough reason for me to want him to be a Titan.
