I think we should get them as 2 Selects 2-packs at leader class prices each. Or a 4-pack at $100.Nemesis Reformatted wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:These listings vastly disappoint me.

That's nothing! I've been waiting decades for the 4 Deluxe Insecticons. Waiting a few years for Bayverse is nothing. At least people still remember the Bay movies. The 4 deluxe Insecticons have pretty much been erased from everybody's memory. Now we're getting the 3 from the 86 movie AGAIN! We already have multiple versions of Kickback, Shrapnel & Bombshell. I'm never going to get new versions of Ransack, Barrage, Chop Shop or Venom. This is killing me.![]()
We never got updates for Ransack, Barrage, Chop Shop or Venom & now all I'm seeing are fans wanting Devastator & Blaster again. There are multiple versions of Devastator & Blaster out there & they still want the same characters over & over again. While I can't even have 1 new Venom.
Well, somebody's sure been ignoring these three Chop Shops we've gotten between Hasbro and Takara:Nemesis Reformatted wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:These listings vastly disappoint me.

I want to get something straight, I am not against any type of Transformers (except maybe Beast wars since I just don't like seeing real type animals turn into robots. Magmatron is the one exception to this). I definitely have a preference towards Bayverse, since it is what I grew up with and is what pops up to me when I first think of what transformers are. I am just getting tired of seeing so many redo's of the G1 designs (I count BB movie in this since they are just G1 with more lines), while a lot of the Bayverse stuff still may not even have a figure ever made yet. There are maybe 20 more Bayverse figures that I would like to see made and it would probaly take a year (or maybe two if they are slow) for Hasbro to finish them off. For the BB movie figures, I wish that it got its own line back in 2018-19 to dump out all these figures (instead of the energon igniters line).
Yes, this. Exactly this. I like G1, and I also like the Travis knight designs. But their obvious neglect to the bayverse characters is starting to seem intentional and frustrating.

My hell, it's a slight upgrade from the 2005 Classics design, which is great for a toy designed in 2005 at the deluxe scale ... but not that great at a voyager scale.

Perhaps Hasbro is trying to spread the Bay figures out because they know once a cast is complete for a movie is done, if not all the live-action movies, then this line is basically done until the next live-action movie.Sabrblade wrote:It's only at Leader class because of the whopping throne they're including with it.cruizerdave wrote:They'd better include the other two seekers if they're going to try and sell us that mold again at leader class price point. If they work a flushing sound in it will be the greatest Transformer ever.

And frankly, I'm OK with that. Especially if more than just the seeker mold can sit in it. Heck, I've been trying to find a stool or something on Shapeways that a voyager-class figure could sit on, and it has been difficult. And if I did, it would probably be close to 50 bucks just for the seat. Getting a figure with a crown and cape to go with the throne is a bonus.
But keep in perspective a few things:
There is a high probability that this throne isn't going to be anywhere near a throne that by itself would cost $50.
Look at the missed potential with the Wheelie and Daniel pack-in's.
If they weren't willing to give those guys hinged knees, I'm not expecting much of anything from a glorified chair. I'll be real surprised if it does anything like swivel or have any sort of articulation.
I'm thinking the only reason it won't be one molded piece of plastic is so it will fit in the package... If it's the same size box as Grimlock's it can't be much of a throne if it's 1 piece packed with a voyager class figure and the other accessories (including a relatively big cape).
In fact, the more I think about the logistics with packaging, the more I think that this throne may actually end up being a platform (despite the rumor of an articulated cape).
Using a previous mold for this version you'd think that Hastak would be able to add in accessories that are a legit $20+ worth of stuff... I just don't see that being the reality.
And if the rumor is true that Ss's shoulders have been re-tooled, you won't even be able to use all of the accessories on another seeker...
But sure, I'm okay with this figure.
Because I know it's this type of release that makes figures like the new Dinobots, Perceptor, and eventually new Insecticons and Blitzwing possible.
True. And now that I stop and think about it, we could get something as lame as the Quintesson Judge's 'throne' just upscaled.

Almost the entire cast of the 2007 movie has been released, but would anyone complain about anniversary special edition 2 packs?
Like Bumblebee vs Barricade Junkyard Battle?
Prime vs Bonecrusher Highway Brawl?
Prime vs Megatron Final battle?

What if the two-pack were to use the old rusty Camaro Bumblebee since he was in that form when he fought Barricade in the movie?-Kanrabat- wrote:Overcracker wrote:It just hit me, that next year is the 15th anniversary of the 2007 Michael Bay movie. I'd be down for a Bee VS Barricade 2 pack. The only SS Bee I have are the Jeep and the old rusty Camaro. And I stupidly missed out on Barricade.

I already have SS-01 and the original SS Barricade, but if they included Frenzy and the Bee has the weathering like on Clunker Bee then I’d be up for it.-Kanrabat- wrote: The only SS Bee I have are the Jeep and the old rusty Camaro. And I stupidly missed out on Barricade.
I’d seriously recommend SS-49 or SS-74, it’s the best deluxe Bumblebee mold IMO.

They will make a movie bot like Jazz and give him a 2007 movie accurate bot mode and deco, and somehow through some transformation panel magic it will convert to a G1 cartoon Jazz car mode also with proper deco.
That should piss everyone off, therefore it is almost confirmed.
And I'll probably still buy it and love it.
Slight correction: The Skywarp/Megatron would have only turned into a jet. It was the Megatron/Galvatron that would have become a gun. They were triple changers.chuckdawg1999 wrote:TF-fan kev777 wrote:Hmmm, I've got it. You do know that was a concept for a few figures in the late '80s? They were going to make a Skywarp that turns into a jet, who turns into Megatron, who turns into a gun.

On the other hand I've also been playing around with Buzzworthy SS74 Bee which I thought received glowing reviews, but I found his panels to be very annoying.
