I’m actually super excited for an SS Sideways in the future. He doesn’t do much in the movie, but he’s one of the main playable characters in the ROTF video games and even makes a brief appearance in the ride at Universal.

I'd like a Sideways if they manage to get a fully licensed Audi R8 alt mode. For some reason the original movie toys were not actually licensed R8s, just close approximations.

Much like Porsche, and coincidentally owned by the same parent company, Audi has not allowed the usage of their fully licensed cars for TF toys for some reason.

Not sure why that needed corrected when my point was still pretty clear and generally agreed upon lol. But I guess let me correct myself; “especially when we’re waiting on some *anticipated fan favorites* like...”

The joke is that RoTF Skids and Mudflap are generally hated by the fandom. You should be ashamed to like such vile characters.

That said, gimme A voyager icecream twins two pack and the regular deluxes of them already!

I still stand by them being fan-favorites for many people out there. Based on my experience in the fandom there's actually a lot of people who like those characters and are very nostalgic for them, and most certainly want SS representations of them, but they just don't usually speak out in fear of being insulted or labeled as "vile" or "racist" lol.
As for as Sidways is concerned, I never cared for his design much, but I know I've seen a lot of posts asking for him. Maybe I'm just scarred from how floppy and fiddly his ROTF figure was lol. 9 year old me couldn't handle it
Anyways, With a SS Devestator, I totally need an accompanying 2 pack of those twins to complete the display. Maybe I can get some sort of Diorama Pyramid to put them next to in my display room.

And this is why I'm not particularly excited for the SS version. It's a re-mold of Dino, another character they couldn't get the rights to the car mode of. Lol none of them are. Calling them major is pretty funny especially since we Sideways' robot mode was onscreen for literally 1 second and not even fully transformed. Plus Decvon is the definition of underutilized design. And the twins are hated by the fanbase so much that they never reappeared and Hasbro has been very squirrely about ever mentioning them again. So yeah, that was a pretty funny statement.

Just a couple random questions as I like to follow news about SS, but I don't actually collect them:

1. There hasn't been any SS version of Frenzy correct? I think he is the only movie 1 character not to have a toy. Should have came with Barricade, but that's just my opinion.

2. Are there any plans for a release of SS74 that has regular SS packaging, and not Buzzworthy packaging?

1. Nope, there hasn't been one yet.

2. We got listings for a mainline release of SS-74 (we know since they were from a Walmart computer while Buzzworthy is Target exclusive) back in the summer of last year, and the recent listings from JTPrime support this. I'd imagine we'll see it tomorrow if we see Jolt and Grindor. Thrust is in that wave as well so we could see that too.

Lol I was literally just pointing out how odd it is that an entire wave will consist of 3 repacks and a remold, and everyone’s digging into a couple freaking subjective words they disagree with. Those had nothing to do with my point, so please relax. Funny enough it’s still a valid point that only one person has responded to normally without diverting the topic so desperately off course.

Once again Hasbro only showed G1 stuff for the Fan First Friday, starting to think they're giving up on Bayverse. Really annoying.

Well, at least I was prepared for it this time.

It's so frustrating that they said "Don't worry, Studio Series fans!" during Pulsecon only for Live action Studio Series to get completely shafted again at this event.

Also kind of annoying that they're rolling out the red carpet for The 35th of the 86 movie and we've had a single deluxe for the 10th of DOTM.

So the fan first friday just wrapped up and like I was dreading, it was a waste of time. You would think that they would want to get on top of leakers by showing off the toys, but it does not seem that way. Hopefully Tonton, PvP, or someone else leak the SS figures soon, because Hasbro is doing a terrible job.

I'm not getting my hopes up. The design team appears to have a giant G1 boner that they still can't seem to satisfy no matter how many versions of the same toys they keep making and how many lines they take over.

Unfortunately I too am hardened by geewun and its nice to see the toys getting some solid figures after 30+ years
That being said there's no reason for fans of the live action fans to have to wait as long with modern engineering

I would say with a little patience they'll hop off the g1 anniversary marketing considering there are new films in development and hopefully the next fan first Friday will be all about Jolt, Soundwave, etc

Until then ill be enjoying this while my bank account has its arteries slashed and slowly bleeds out

I drove by a local church the other day & the sign out front said "These days everybody is offended by everything but sin". Boy ain't that the truth? This outrage culture being offended by everything is ridiculous. Let them be offended, it's only words, it can't hurt them, they'll be fine & they'll get over it.

Anyway, with that said, I love everything they showed today except for Gnaw's head showing in the shark's mouth. I'll probably pop his head off every time & transform him into shark mode. Just put it aside with his gun.

I think the best thing they showed was POTP Wreck-Gar riding the new one.

I really hope we'll all have enough time to pre-order SG Starscream, you know how it is with Seekers. Everybody has to hog them up, even if they're not really into Seekers. I'm obsessed with Seekers because Starscream, Skywarp & Thundercracker were the very first Transformers I ever saw in stores. I have a strong connection to them.

Damn! I didn't even notice that.

The bastards have always separated Swoop & Snarl for some reason. I never understood why but it has always pissed me off because Snarl is my favorite. I don't know why Snarl & Swoop are always brushed off like "Here are the Dinobots, Grimlock, Sludge & Slag......oh, and those other 2 guys that don't really matter.

Imagine if they did that with a combiner team. Wait, never mind, they pretty much did do that with Slingshot, Groove & Wildrider.
