Actually, Megatron's chest in jet mode is in the same placement as g1 Blitzwing's chest, which means... EXTRA ACCURACY! G1 Blitzwing didn't have a cockpit on his chest, so how would it look weird in jet mode? I don't get that point.

Also, G1 Blitzwing had more of a boxy head. That means, while the titanmaster gimmick may've made some of the characters like Astrotrain and Scourge have innacurate boxiness to their heads, Blitz would look just right!

Skullshamsher doesnt have the same issues in his takara release:

Doesn't have any problem standing. He has fairly tight joints. The cockpit is that same soft plastic as the Hasbro version.

The G1 toy didn't really have a cockpit or anything there.

The raised cylinder is the back of the cockpit. Obviously Megatron doesn't use that for his chest, but rather the section immediately behind it, meaning the inevitable Blitzwing retool will that section of jet twice in a row:

I mean, it won't literally be the exact same, but it's going to be a rather conspicuous case of faux parts.

Doesn't look too bad to me. Also, they could make him flat-chested but with just the same decals and stuff. They don't have to have the cone part. It wasn't even that noticeable anyway.

So today I go to a Toys R' Us about 20 minutes away from Toledo, Ohio and what do I see? Titans Return Scourge and the Titanmasters Brawn, Apeface, and Skytread. I bought them. They were all the TRU had, unfortunately. So I have 3/4 of the wave 2 Titanmasters and I don't even have the wave 1 Titanmasters. Scourge actually looks better in person, I think. Fracas connects very loosely on mine. In fact, Apeface is the only one that fit solidly into the port. Yes, I have been swapping heads and having Scourge hold the Weapon modes of the Titanmaster's vehicles. I have so few figures and they're so fun!

And I will tell you why not razorclaw, because this lion titan master set is homaging an actual headmaster, which is what many of these titan masters are doing.





This is without a doubt the best character/toy to homage is you want to make a lion themed headmaster. Especialy one that doesnt come with a body.

This is without a doubt the best character/toy to homage is you want to make a lion themed headmaster. Especialy one that doesnt come with a body.

Another reason, why include yet another Razorclaw repaint on a toy that is not meant to be him and that doesn't combine, when they can throw a bone to fans or introduce an even deeper appreciation for the past (which I know people don't necessarily want either)? We discussed this idea on the podcast last night, maybe you could check it out when it's uploaded, but this is similar to other repaints that were never intended to be that character, but they sort of fit, so they were made.

I see your point Madeus, but this tickles my beginning in the fandom nostalgia itch. Lione was my first individual headmaster I ever found, so this is an excellent shout to me.

Some might even argue that this is the direction the little Titanmaster packs should go, rather than using names and likenesses of known big characters without the actual transforming bodies, like Brawn, Apeface, Nightbeat, Crashbash, etc. All are meant to have and are deserving of full transforming bodies that most likely are not coming. So instead of known characters, they could release head only characters like Lione, Trizor, Kirk, Elephadora (or whatever he was called) and the rest that had no bodies from japanese G1 lore, and make them the little TMs. Heck they could even make up more, new characters, which would make others feel better too, I imagine.

It's a great discussion point nonetheless.

I'd certainly say it's the direction they should go myself; though I don't really mind it happening to the likes of Apeface and Brawn and Squeezeplay and I can understand why it is happening to the likes of those. If anything I feel lucky that we've got someone like Leone.
And while there's no real nostalgic connection to him - and almost no fictional connection; they barely pulled an appearance in Headmasters - nor did I really want him, it's still pretty cool to get as they're practically new characters to me. And again, shield that turns into a tiny lion and has an even tinier dude ride him. I love it. This is the sort of **** Transformers should always do; just bizarre, weird stuff you can have fun with. That's why I've been loving the look of the Titan Master class in general, just look at Clobber/Crashbash! Way too fun.

So! umm...this Sixshot intrigues me, hopefully it'll have it's 6 modes(why wouldn't it?) seeing as it's Leader Class...do you think it'll have some sort of an alt base mode?

+ i wonder if we'll ever see Quickswitch seeing as we're getting Sixshot

Well, I'd think we'd get an Greatshot first, because it's more of an almost straight repaint, but Quickswitch could be the name they give it, or the colors they give it, but yeah, I'd expect some kind of Autobot repaint/slight retool.

The rumour was just that brawn was in the line, and it was then confirmed that he was... As a titanmaster. There is no current rumour of another brawl coming out. There is an old rumour from 2013 but the toy is probably cancelled now.

Didn't another guy go through this with ya earlier in the thread? That there was a Legends figure in addition to the Titan Master rumoured for this line?

Completely random thought, but does it appear to anyone else that the new Blurr mold would actually be pretty well suited to be retooled into Cybertron Override?
