Edit: It seems fairly likely to get a mixed mold for Misfire because of the pretty much predetermined need for a heavily modified body for SLugslinger, and we all know how much work they would need to put into him.
I'd call that off-the-wall bizarre speculation, but after Scourge and Highbrow... screw it, anything's possible. At this rate they'll find a way to retool TR Hot Rod into Masterpiece Astrotrain.
It's not as off-the-wall as you think. I am a type that likes to watch reviews multiple times and study the transformations, and I can tell you that for accuracy's sake, Triggerhappy would work much better for Misfire. It makes sense also since Triggerhappy's nosecone could be retooled very easily since it's just a piece sitting on the back, whereas Topspin's cockpit assembly is very subject to base engineering. So in my opinion, they'll probably either just use Triggerhappy for Misfire, or use Topspin's base and highly change the transformation for the legs.
Edit: I will give you one issue, and that is Triggerhappy's arms. While his legs transform exactly like Misfire's, and seem pretty obviously like a pretool-ish agenda, his arms are like neither Misfire's nor Slugslinger's in alt modes. Topspin's arms actually fold into the sides just like Misfire and Slugsslinger. That's why I am thinking mold-mixing might be something they do.
ANOTHER Edit: Now that I look at it, Misfire's arms just fold up under the wings. This makes Triggerhappy look like an even more likely retool into Misfire rather than Topspin and his integrating arm transformation a la Slugslinger.
