I apologize if this was brought up, as it was just a couple of days ago, but like 30 pages in the forum thread (#hyperbole) and I haven't yet caught up, but I think the calf gun is partially made up of Plex's shoulder gun, hence the connection point not being used.

Off to catch up on what I hope are more Breakaway puns. Loving this place! ;)^

I was wondering if that was the case since my store was packed to the brim with titan masters from wave 1 and 2 but no clobber and now i know why.

Oh and if anyone is stil looking for al the wave 3 titanmasters, they are available online as a set at standard retail price: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... L97xfkrK00

Wave 4 as well: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... L97ufkrK00

It was months ago (as in last year) since I saw an Apeface TM at TRU. No sign of Clobber or even Brawn. :( Though Takara took care of that :x

Yup not spotted yet, you are caught up :)

let us know what you think of the toy since it has had very mixed reviews from our community.

ok...so a lot happened last night...just reading through the last few pages of this thread...

1.T-Rex WAS cool in the 80's PRIOR to Jurassic Park...I know I was there ;) (Real life experience...IN my first grade class 1982, we all had to make clay Dinosaurs -the 3 choices were T-Rex, Triceratops, and Brontosaurus, (nka Apatosaurus). I made a Parasaurolophus because I could ;) .

2. There is no such thing as "realistic", or 100% accurate interpretations of Dinosaurs, everyone getting hung up on this, especially in Transformers, needs to just let this go.

3. As for Sixshot...he is pretty cool overall I like him. I've been relatively fortunate when it comes to getting tight limbed Transformers, but Sixshot does unfortunately suffer in the arms & legs from floppiness. It was fun (in a good way) seeing my son struggle with the transformations since pretty much all the other leader class he did on his own. I only did the Spaceship mode, and let my son do the rest. It reminded me of the original commercial- He IS The Ultimate challenge  . I'd give it a solid 7 of 10. Displaying in Robot Mode however he is probably my favorite of the Leader Class so far.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Hopefully the Entertainer or TRU-UK will restock Nightbeat as aside from some lucky ASDA's that wave sold out really fast and wasn't restocked over much of the UK. I'm just unlucky enough to live in a dead-zone with few independent toyshops of any quality and I pretty much rely on on-line purchases.

If I can wander off topic for a mo- of a great concern than Titanmaster Nightbeat around here would be the stupid amount of 3-step RID Bumblebees and yet there is another one Hasbro wants to add.

The bizarre thing is that non of the Black Bumblebees are easy to get at all so if they re-issued any of them they'd likely sell - I never even saw a Black Legion Bee in the wild - I had to buy him online and I only saw the Black Warrior and Black 3-step once and twice respectively & The Clash one didn't hang around long.

I was just in a Sainsbury's that is usually pretty good for Transformers and they had had problems with some Combiner Wars Combaticons "Getting in the way" for some time now. They have finally gone - but they didn't do what I anticipated and replace them with Titans Returns Deluxes their product offering is getting to be like one big advert for RID - they don't even sell Rescue Bots anymore - in fact ever store I've checked has sold out completely of Rescue Bots (and at full price too).

Hopefully the likes of Wave 4 Titans Returns will show up online eventually - but preferably not at bonkers insane prices.

I dunno, we kinda broke away from those a while back. Of course if you could restore some much needed power to our pun efforts, it'd be greatly appreciated! Heck, I'd even go so far as to call you a master. A Powerma- *shot*

So I've been going a bit crazy with my Sharpies lately, and have successfully added face detailing (sometimes more too) to every one of my TMs that didn't have paint to begin with. And I gotta say, it really does add a lot to them! They feel like their own little guys now, which is great and really helps the 'playset' play pattern a whole lot more fun. I'll take some pictures when I get home this afternoon, but suffice to say some of them look fantastic (a bit of gold picking out Sawback's face, for instance, does wonders - even though the friction from attaching it to anything is probably gonna rub it off the nose sooner rather than later).

I can't recall whether you've said if you've picked up Titans Return Voyager Optimus Prime yet, but interestingly enough, his Titan Master partner Diac is unique among most of the more recent (after Wave 1) Hasbro Titan Master releases in that his entire head (not Optimus' face) is painted over in silver. There's no other paint on the rest of the Titan Master body (arms, legs, and torso). It's an interesting choice, but just that little bit of added detail certainly does help Diac stand out a little more from his other Titan Master contemporaries.

It's because he's an homage to the old Diaclone drivers who had silver heads.

I haven't been able to get him personally (I haven't seen Wave 3 Voyagers anywhere yet, and even so I'm planning on getting the boxsets so I figured I'd wait for the G2 version), but that's certainly an interesting fact. I like all the little details that sometimes go into a figure's TM to make them feel different (for example, Sovereign and Daburu both have three plastic colors, compared to every other (AFAIK) Titan Master's two). It kinda reminds me of the CW combiner pegs, in that the designers really didn't have to make them all unique - we probably would've bought them anyway, just with a bit more grumbling - but they did (mostly) and that's really nice!

I think you may need to Google what a crocodile or alligator looks like if you think Snapdragon is one of those.

I can't say I am super happy with just "Reptile" as I can't think of many reptiles that look like that - not that bulky and standing on back legs anyway.

https://www.seibertron.com/comics/unive ... snapdragon

Retro-T-Rex or Dragon seems more appropriate to me. especially as why'd you call him snap Dragon if he's not a dragon. that is like suggesting he's named after the flower and he's got a cute flower name like Peony or Poppy.

So I just got sixshot from bbts today. Gotta say, this thing is just stupid. None of the vehicle modes look like passable vehicles, and the wolf mode looks horrible with those backwards legs. And his arms just hang off the jet mode. I know it's hard to fit 6 modes into a figure, but they could have tried with the alt-modes a bit.
Robot mode is ok, don't care for his giant shins though.

Ah, I just looked it up and found out that sixshot's alt-modes look so wierd because they are meant to look like the G1 toys lackluster alt-modes. Sorry for the rant there, didn't realize that the alt-modes suck on purpose.
You'd think that they would have taken the opportunity to improve on the figure's designs instead of just remaking it.

That's the current design team for ya. Just remake the G1 toys except they now have more articulation than waving their shoulders up and down like a deranged mosh pit.

Though rather oddly, this is something that seems almost completely subverted for the Voyager Triple Changers. Alpha Trion is a completely original design, Astrotrain is based on an unused IDW Stormbringer design of all things, Broadside and Octane are completely different from their original toys... Blitzwing's the only one that really has much to do with his G1 self and even then there's a lot of ingenuity going on with him. It's a strange bout of creativity and a safe haven from the rampant GEEWUNing that I'm quite enjoying. Makes one wonder how Snapdragon and Apeface will turn out...

It's a strange bout of creativity and a safe haven from the rampant GEEWUNing that I'm quite enjoying. Makes one wonder how Snapdragon and Apeface will turn out...

Ironically those voyagers are some of my favorite figures from TR. Alpha Trion is an amazing figure and Thanks to the Asia stickers (highly recommended) Sentinel is one of my favorite Primes.

You'd think that they would have taken the opportunity to improve on the figure's designs instead of just remaking it.
Cutting edge design 30+ years ago = disappointing design now.

Heck yeah, they're absolutely awesome figures. I love my Megatron to pieces.

Broke my one figure per character rule for him and I don't regret it. Also Loudmouth's head looks awesome on it.

Retro-T-Rex or Dragon seems more appropriate to me. especially as why'd you call him snap Dragon if he's not a dragon. that is like suggesting he's named after the flower and he's got a cute flower name like Peony or Poppy.

Dinosaurs and dragons (were they to exist) are/were both reptiles, so there are at least some reptiles that look like that. ;)
I get you though, "reptile" is a bit broad - but it's also the most agreeable designation - some believe that he's a dragon, others a T-rex, but at the very least most people can agree that he is some sort of reptile.

I absolutely love most of the line's Voyagers too, but let's still give credit where it's due. Most of the Legends designs have been pretty cutting-edge (Wheelie, when he works correctly, is still an engineering marvel to me), and even if most Deluxes and Leaders have been relatively similar to G1 there's still quite a bit of variation. Chromedome is totally different - though he owes that to being based on Dead End moreso than being a "redesigned Chromedome" - Kup, Topspin, and Twintwist are huge improvements on their old versions; and let's not forget Triggerhappy now.

(Plus Fort Max is hugely different from his G1 design, I mean come on, we have a totally redesigned Titan figure! :P )

Personally I'd prefer a Grimlock figure that can do both poses. Even Grotusque back in the day could be worked into a semi-official (it was in the catalog) and convincing enough saber-toothed tiger mode.

Emerje

RID Grimlock is the major exception. He's a tail dragger.

Is it just me or are all of those grimlocks (save the foc) ugly as sin in robot mode?

Qwan I'll give you wheelie is a good figure, but he's still G1 as f. Besides we aren't talking about the good figures, we're talking about the figures that could have been good but we're purposely made worse to look or feel G1. Like how Galvatron's cannon placement makes his arm useless.
