I apologize if this was brought up, as it was just a couple of days ago, but like 30 pages in the forum thread (#hyperbole) and I haven't yet caught up, but I think the calf gun is partially made up of Plex's shoulder gun, hence the connection point not being used.

Off to catch up on what I hope are more Breakaway puns. Loving this place!
william-james88 wrote:By the way, if anyone is wondering why you haven't seen Clobber or Skythread but saw others from that wave, its not because those 2 keep selling out, its because the current titans return wave being stocked by stores is a revision wave that doesnt include them : http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... I was wondering if that was the case since my store was packed to the brim with titan masters from wave 1 and 2 but no clobber and now i know why.
Oh and if anyone is stil looking for al the wave 3 titanmasters, they are available online as a set at standard retail price: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... L97xfkrK00
Wave 4 as well: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... L97ufkrK00

Yup not spotted yet, you are caught up
let us know what you think of the toy since it has had very mixed reviews from our community.

I dunno, we kinda broke away from those a while back. Of course if you could restore some much needed power to our pun efforts, it'd be greatly appreciated! Heck, I'd even go so far as to call you a master. A Powerma- *shot*
So I've been going a bit crazy with my Sharpies lately, and have successfully added face detailing (sometimes more too) to every one of my TMs that didn't have paint to begin with. And I gotta say, it really does add a lot to them! They feel like their own little guys now, which is great and really helps the 'playset' play pattern a whole lot more fun. I'll take some pictures when I get home this afternoon, but suffice to say some of them look fantastic (a bit of gold picking out Sawback's face, for instance, does wonders - even though the friction from attaching it to anything is probably gonna rub it off the nose sooner rather than later).

I can't recall whether you've said if you've picked up Titans Return Voyager Optimus Prime yet, but interestingly enough, his Titan Master partner Diac is unique among most of the more recent (after Wave 1) Hasbro Titan Master releases in that his entire head (not Optimus' face) is painted over in silver. There's no other paint on the rest of the Titan Master body (arms, legs, and torso). It's an interesting choice, but just that little bit of added detail certainly does help Diac stand out a little more from his other Titan Master contemporaries.

Neat! I really do appreciate all of the little obscure references the current design team is peppering into the Titan Returns line.

Not everyone knew that ( with some exceptions of course) RodimusConvoy13but you didn't get any grief for posting it

It's good that they are in minority (those members who troll a posts and get all smart aleck when similar posts noting such obscure references get presented.

You'd think that they would have taken the opportunity to improve on the figure's designs instead of just remaking it.
Cutting edge design 30+ years ago = disappointing design now.

That's the current design team for ya. Just remake the G1 toys except they now have more articulation than waving their shoulders up and down like a deranged mosh pit.
Though rather oddly, this is something that seems almost completely subverted for the Voyager Triple Changers. Alpha Trion is a completely original design, Astrotrain is based on an unused IDW Stormbringer design of all things, Broadside and Octane are completely different from their original toys... Blitzwing's the only one that really has much to do with his G1 self and even then there's a lot of ingenuity going on with him. It's a strange bout of creativity and a safe haven from the rampant GEEWUNing that I'm quite enjoying. Makes one wonder how Snapdragon and Apeface will turn out...

Ironically those voyagers are some of my favorite figures from TR. Alpha Trion is an amazing figure and Thanks to the Asia stickers (highly recommended) Sentinel is one of my favorite Primes.

Retro-T-Rex or Dragon seems more appropriate to me. especially as why'd you call him snap Dragon if he's not a dragon. that is like suggesting he's named after the flower and he's got a cute flower name like Peony or Poppy.

Emerje wrote:Haven't all of the modern Grimlock figures that aren't the MP made realistic?
Personally I'd prefer a Grimlock figure that can do both poses. Even Grotusque back in the day could be worked into a semi-official (it was in the catalog) and convincing enough saber-toothed tiger mode.

RID Grimlock is the major exception. He's a tail dragger.
