Ha, now its you who shows me something I didnt catch! So yeah, it looks like it's the same thing as how they handled Sentinel in the DOTM toyline.

16 steps? The only CW figures I can think of that have that many or higher is Bonecrusher and Scavenger. So that means that another TP rumor (the one about larger and more complex than CW) has been completely confirmed.

And it kinda makes me sad to see that Wheelie, a legends class, is more complex than half the CW line.

Why larger? More complex sure, but these are clearly not bigger. Everyone who went to the toyfair came back saying they were the standard deluxe size. And while they are more complex than CW, they arent more complex than usual. The early FOC deluxes are still far more complex (BB and Optimus), but this is a nice return to normal.

The exact transmissions rumour, if you listened to the podcast, was that these new deluxes would be of higher quality, bigger and come with an extra vehicle or animal partner.

This did not pan out. The deluxes are the same sixe as usual, and the little animals and vehicles are the titan master figures sold individually.

Also, the source of the transmission podcast is not a Hasbro employee, it is someone who has ties to an employee, supposedly, but not an employee. So what they say and have said is still based on observation and opinion. Other people have seen the same things they saw but instead have kept their mouths shut.

Not as detailed as I'd hoped but it looks like certain titanmasters have special abilities to offer their partners. That would make for a cool app to play.

The CW Deluxes couldn't be so complex because of their gimmick.

I don't think it really has something to say (in context with the IDW story) where they put him, because he has an Autobot symbol, so they put him right next to the other Autobots.

The mehcanics are nothing similar, he's not a spaceship and a train that combine. You can see in his train mode that one of his feet forms his front and the other forms his back.

aye your right, my mistake, his train section forms his bottom half, while the spaceship part forms his top half, hmmmm interesting

but! it's still the mechanic of connecting two halves together! but just done in a different way to that of Energon Omega

Huh. I had read on TFW2005 that people that were there were saying that they were larger.

And to clarify, I don't actually listen to the podcast. I just read what Scaleface posts afterwards.

Well everyone has their own perspective. If someone accepts Prime Kup to be a standard deluxe size then they will surely look larger.

I think in this case, as with Chromedome, it will all come down to what we individually make of them once we have them in hand. Which is something I cant wait.

Legends Wheelie is one I have been hoping for.

So... Is the speculation that the rumored Laser Prime will use Sentinel's head or perhaps be a major Sentinel retool?

Laser prime is drastically different from sentinel so I believe he would be a brand new mold.

Yeah, thats just speculation. John Warden said Titans Return will have a lot less retools and redecos than CW, and they will only be used when they make sense. So I wouldnt expect another use of that mold aside from Astrotrain. The Lazer Prime is rumoured to be a new mold.
