Really? It was mentioned several times as a probable repaint when the mold was first announced.
Even I did.

Hold on, I can see where Will was confused. The fans had been talking about wanting the Megatron alligator and the Bat Prime. There was some confusing here and now he thinks they were talking about that alligator abomination from that 1 G1 episode. So he's not going crazy, things just got lost in translation

Insurgent wrote:You know something? I can see myself finishing with new generations figures once we pass the Rebirth characters. Other than Overlord, I don't really fancy or care about the 88 guys onwards. Heck, I don't even care about the original targetmasters. So unless they do more Beast Wars.... I can finally see an end to my collecting this line. Something I never thought would happen. And I don't know how I feel about that.

Luckily for me i'll never run out of toys to buy as I don't buy to have updated characters, I buy toys that I like the look of and look like they would be fun to play with. Doesn't matter what era or line they come from

To my shame I haven't got round to them yet, but there is many that I want, and I plan to turn my attention to them soon, well the warriors and the legion size ones as I just love the Lil guys and gals. They can help give scale to the larger bots and cons like tidal wave
