Not that he was on the shelves (there was plenty of TR and I was set to get Wheelie and Optimus Prime) so I had to go ask about him. After nearly 10 minutes of waiting around she came back to tell me "he's in the computer, we just have to find him". So I went to a car show and then came back and the big box was waiting for me.

Care to share some thoughts?

The Police Academy movies haven't aged well. Steve Guttenberg even less. I swear his acting was more cheesy in 2Lava2Lantula than it was in Lavalantula.

PS: Also through some Burn inspired wikipedia searches I just realized that Kristie Allie was Lt Savik in Wrath of Kahn. Pretty awesome first role to have!

Well the package was kinda ... meh. Nothing exciting there. As for the figure, dunno. Not allowed to open things in store.

Hey guys, I just had some of the best luck I've ever had today on a toy hunt. And I've been toy hunting for a while.
I went to TRU in search of some new TR figures, and they didn't have much except for a Fort Max which I plan on buying around the holiday season. However, hidden below the Fort Max was a lone Devastator. It had been returned and was on clearance for $135 (looks like it was a return). I was in such awe I thought it couldn't be real
I got home a couple hours ago and got straight to composing Devastator in his combined form and its 100% complete and in mint condition. I am absolutely in love with this massive behemoth of a figure.

Nevertheless, awesome find because the only common way to find this guy now is through the secondary market and it's inflated prices.

I pre-ordered it and was lucky enough for TrU to have a sale 2 months later. I already got mine and paid full 200$CAN+tx for it, but with TrU's policy, I could have around 70$CAN refunded!

I was going to hold out for the normal colored ones but decided I didn't hate Doomitron's brightly colored "toxic claw" look after all. My only complaint is Bashbreaker's arm tab doesn't click into place in hammer mode so it's not as solid as it could be.

There's a story behind those colours. Notice they are Bludgeon themed. That mold was initially supposed to be called Bludgeon with the other similar looking minicon (which comes in the Optimus battlepack) called Lord Doomitron. But they switched the names at one point.
