I had a fondness for the Sparkabouts (and Firecons). I iked their sparky feature and the character's stories with Ultra Magnus in the Marvel UK comics despite Sizzle and FIzzle having their robot mode colours switched.

I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!

$165AUD all up.
Initially I was only going to get Guzzle and Doublecross but the seller (on OzFormers) was incredibly kind enough to let me pay off so much each week (which I am incredibly appreciative of) and was happy to hold Skullcruncher for me. Decided to just grab Kick-Off because ... *sigh* ... Action Masters are a part of G1 so as much as I loathe them they have to form part of any G1 collection.
I'm going to get some Reprolabels for them as Doublecross and Skullcruncher are missing a couple. Just to make them pop that little bit more.

That, I consider an incredible deal.
A single Headmaster is now around 150$CAN and you were able to make multiple payments for convenience. That's an offer impossible to refuse. Make me think about all the deals I made with my local guy and the ones still to come. And thanks to him, my Action Masters collection only miss TWO. The Euro exclusives Tracks and Charger!

I still have an upcoming small trade with him. Stay tuned for Friday!

So I was on Mandarake's auctions and spotted a boxed Japanese G2 "Hero" Megatron that probably would have run me upwards of $35 shipped if I had won it. I've always wanted him and Hero Optimus, but never really found a good price. But that gave me the urge to go see what I could find on eBay. What I found was an auction for both Heroes Megatron and Optimus complete without packaging with zero bids for $40 and ending in a little over an hour. The pictures were small and fuzzy and only in their alt modes. But from what I could see the paint seemed to be in good shape and the stickers appeared to be intact so I decided to take a shot and make the minimum bid and see what happened.
$40 and $10 shipping later:
Yeah, I'm not disappointed at all! Stickers are perfect, paint is great, and most of the joints are tight! Only two issues is Megatron is a bit dusty (there isn't a spec of dirt on Optimus, he must have been in a glass case) and his mid torso joint used for transforming is loose, but that's all, these guys are 1994 fresh. I was really worried when the package arrived because the entire top was smashed in a good inch, but thankfully the seller, while only having one think layer of bubble wrap on the bottom and sides of the box, packed the top with it and the right side was crushed. If any of the other five sides were crushed something would have broken.
So yeah, super happy getting these for basically $25 each! Anyway, I've got a bunch of other stuff coming in the mail including an incredible deal from Amazon PrimeDay that I'm reserving my excitement for when I actually have them in hand. Got a good deal from TRU's 20% off sale tonight as well. Plus I've got something coming from Mandarake that might be an equal to or better deal than those two Hero figures were.

Yeah I had that Megatron last year missing accessories and he's still a pretty fun toy. Certainly my fave from the whole of G1 and G2 era due to design, articulation and not turning into a silly gun. Had the Prime too recently (as Sureshot) and he's ok but really too blocky for me. Nice haul

I still have a G1 Chromedome for sale. Any takers?

The potential is there to get that high. There's lots of factors like who the character is, condition (HM's had a tendency to lose arms), completeness (missing HM's, weapons) and some are just harder to find than others.

I've had Sqweeks for two months now and still not bored of the little fellow. He's a great desk toy being fun in both forms, simple to transform and has great play value with his repair bay and such.

Clever. I paid £19 including delivery and got him earlier than most folks and given how much I've played with him since he was definitely worth my money and I would have been happy paying the full £23 or so but yes any savings are always good for any item.

I wanted to like that Bludgeon but he just seems a bit too blocky, weirdly coloured, kinda random looking and the alt-mode doesn't look great. I'm very happy with my RotF Bludgeon with headrobots upgrade but I guess that one's fine if you're into the RID style that I'm not. I'd probably only get if I get urge to collect all Bludgeons.

Not much competition from any TF line this year in my opinion. Most of my faves this year have been from TLK anyways.

I dont know, it feels like it will be a rough year come the year end review, especially if MP Dinobot comes out in 2017. The 2017 stars for me so far have been Triggerhappy, Kup, Top Spin, Quake and Krok (just phenominal redecos), Sky Shadow, TLK Voyager Megatron and our dear TLK Sqweeks.
I personally think Sky Shadow is the best toy to come out so far.

Yeah, the TLK line has been a bit rough. I picked up Barricade and whilst I liked him (probably due to my lowered expectations and curious affection for mediocre figures) he's by no means a great toy, and I'm not sure I'll be picking up Berserker unless he goes on deep clearance, which is a shame because I adore the Dreads design. I do want Sqweeks, Nitro Zeus, Scorn and Voyager Megatron at some point (Megatron notably will be being repurposed as Liege Maximo whilst Scorn will be one of my very own 12 Knights) but as for the rest of the line...nah. Drift I originally wanted along with an AoE Drift as a red oni/blue oni pair, but from what I've seen he's much worse than the AoE figure.
I honestly think the TLK line was very badly mismanaged with regards to budget and mold allocation. Obviously I don't know what goes into these things but here's how I would have done the line:
>Scrap the one-steps and the like. From my experience in my local stores (which granted may not account for elsewhere), nobody is buying them. They're chronic shelfwarmers whilst toys that can actually be posed sell pretty well. That mold money could be going on making better figures.
>Get rid of the AoE "depaint" Bumblebee. That thing is a complete waste of shelfspace. Nobody is going to want the AoE mold with even less paint than it already had.
>Just make Berserker a redeco of the DOTM Crankcase mold, possibly replacing the gun if budget is an issue. Give the new mold to someone else.
>Dreadbot should get the new Deluxe mold allocation freed up by Berserker. Perhaps reshell him later as DotM Crowbar given they share a base CG model.
>Scrap Voyager Scorn (yes I am aware he's a cool toy but he wasn't in the movie at all) and perhaps reissue the AoE figure in more accurate colours.
>Use the freed up Voyager mold allocation for Onslaught.
>Retool ROTF Brimstone into Mohawk.
>For extra retool mileage, perhaps do some more Steelbane retools for some of the other Knights. Use extra budget saved from culling one-steps to make the QC and paint apps not suck.
As far as blatant wishlisting goes, a CW-compatible Infernocus, accurate or not, would have been awesome. Bulldog and the Hawker Hurricane Autobot we briefly see would have been nifty too.

MP Dinobot's unlikely to come out this year considering the next MP -- Sunstreaker -- is coming out in November, while Dinobot hasn't even had a painted prototype shown yet.
