Was a total mess when I saw it in the shop and I was sorting it out into robot mode to make sure it's all there and got it to what I thought would be accurate enough and am glad I was right. That's why I never bothered to seek out U Bee. I was sure that the chest had to go this way because it was made this way. 2007 Movie line still figuring out how to bayformers and all.

Maybe because of the usual misstransformed stock photos.

Why is it that I never find things like this in charity shops near me? I would have snapped that up instantly...assuming it had all swords/rotor blades.

Yeah i wouldn't have paid full price for it simply cos it's far too large and I don't need all the gimmicks and such but I needed cheering up today and a big bright Bumblebee helps with that.

Bit weird that at one point he says something like "you're my new human friend" and his gun-arm lifted up and aimed at me.

Had at least one sword, I didn't see the other cos I wasn't really looking at it much cos as i said i'd had it beofre and it didn't interest me. The cannon was there as was that stupid part that connects the cannon to the arm and partsforms to cover up his head and such in alt-mode.

Oh and i know the electronics worked cos a kid kept pushing the button for about 5 minutes while i was there.

Lucked a bit better than last weeks Landmine. Instead of unusable arms this one is only slighly loose ;)^

but i am consider tightening them with a superglue adhesive just to be sure but he can handle the weight of his gun.

DO NOT SUPER GLUE!
It can end in pain and tears.

Use several layers of Pledge Floor Finish instead. THIS is a miracle stuff to tighten joints and it will not risk gluing things shut. Plus a bottle will last for life.

TRUTH!! I’ve had mine for two years at least and you would think I just bought it. It works so well!! Robots I hated cause of factory looseness are now some of my best!!

That kind of floor polish isn't available here.
Im sure superglue works fine by putting inside the arms... attaching the arms so they can be rotated on the sockets then removing them for a while and letting them dry before re-attaching

you gotta be super careful with the superglue. I don't think i'll ever use it again after what happened with my Legends Blurr. I found clear nail polish a much safer option if you can't find the pledge stuff. You want to just add more friction, not risk sticking stuff permanently in place.

There is also the safe option of taking small wad of paper and wrap it around the socket. i know it works on big lego balljoints for me but never tested on small pegs like landmine.

problem is his arms are more difficult to pull of despite being loose

edit:paper didnt work the arms are too small to work with. just going to hope his arms never worsen for the next 5 years at least.

Toys R Us suck mighty balls regarding Transformers. They have an infinity of WAVE ONE Studio Series and PotP clogging the shelves. And if they sell anything, the shelves are restocked with MORE wave ones!

So I took a look at WalMart. They may barely get any stock, but when they do, it's always the new stuff.

Seconded. I'm cheap so didn't want to buy a big bottle of pledge I'll rarely use. My wife had some nail polish she was about to chuck, so I used it on a few figures and it worked great. I heard it doesn't last as long as pledge, but I don't handle any of my figures enough to wear it out quickly anyway.

Picked up the last two TLK deluxe car bots this weekend. AND some Testors Acrylic "Engine Bay Detail" paint (flat white, flat black, silver, gunmetal, gloss red, gloss black) as well. For all three of those bots and the paint, it was less expensive than one of the bots by themselves at normal retail. Hooray!

They look awesome. I'd like to find me a cheap TLK Crosshairs sometime. I did have the AoE one but the car paint only on one side bugged the hell out of me and the TLK one just is a bit nicer overall.

They actually do! Haven't painted up Crosshairs or Drift yet, but they definitely need it! I think my problem will be matching the green for Crosshairs' feet, they are all silver now but they need green on them. I'm actually happier than I thought I'd be, or maybe it's due to the price for all three being the price of a PotP deluxe at Walmart currently :lol:

Had a lucky afternoon, so I decided to investigate the Bridgeton Walmart and Target after work. Walmart in particular had a lot of cool stuff including another Shadow Striker, Ultra Cyberverse Shockwave, several G1 Devastator box sets(!), and Cyberverse Windblade. Found my true prize on the top shelf behind some other items: ACID STORM, BAYBEE.
