I would have a haul but Walmart is stupid
I went to get a micro SD card for my phone. I saw a lone fangry there and was gonna buy it. I go the register and it won't ring. The cashier ask if there was anymore and I said no. Then he said sorry and placed it to the side.

Don't ask me how all the other wave 3 titanmasters rang up or the other two fangries but the point is Walmart has crappy customer service

I would have been a royal grump if that happened to me. I mean I'd still be polite but I would not be easy to deal with until they sold me the robots! :michaelbay:

So the Transformers part of my Christmas haul consisted of Astrotrain and Galvatron. They're good for the most part. I also found Bisk at Toysrus today, they had the latest combiner force wave but Stormshot was MIA. I didn't particularly enjoy paying $16.99+tax but it is another good RID Warrior and its only two dollars difference.

Well that's just lazy. I had the same problem with both Deluxe wave 3 and Titan Masters wave 3, but they just did a price check and the sales went through fine. All the cashier had to do was contact the customer service manager for a price check or do what I've done in the past and just gone and gotten the price tag off the shelf myself.

Damn, that really sucks, man. You have to have the worst luck with the combiners. For Scattorshot's wings, I think the flexible plastic was an intentional choice. With all the "holes" in the wings, a harder plastic would have lead to stress points and likely some breakage, especially when the whole wing get folded back during transformation. They were definitely weird to get used to. No excuse for the drill peg, that should be one of the strongest parts.

Hmm.... I usually have the worst luck with combiners and TFs in general :-(

I still have my UW Computron in the box as I haven't gotten around to opening it yet. This post has me a little worried....

MP Ultra Magnus
MP Inferno

Which out of those 3 should be a priority, I can only get one.

If you don't have Generations Metroplex, get TR Fortmax ASAP.

WJ88, I'd go with TR Fort Max bc MPs are seemingky reissued more often than the items from the CHUG lines. (Unless you count mould reuses)

At the end of the day, go with what makes you happy I'd say.

Through Christmas I acquired: TR Voyager Alpha Trion, Legends Kickback, and RID Warrior Bisk.

Through my own purchasing I acquired: RID Warrior Ratchet.

Love all of them. Kickback might be my fav. My wife bought him for me. What a gal. ;)^

It's not better. It's different.
It boil down to your priorities. A MP collection, or some GIANTS and unique ones? Because if you don't have Metroplex but already have G1 Fortmax, having the original along the remake would be an awesome display. Also, it's a great toy despite it's flaws and the Hasbro colors rock. The only thing that keep me from getting him is that I have Gen Metroplex and.. Well... I'm short on cash, as usual.

I personally was never interested in MP Magnus. For me, he's way too expensive. Also, this may be blasphemy but my Takara Legend Ultra Magnus look way better than the MP. Even the Generations one. I dunno why. I tend to prefer modern updates rather than slavish remakes. That may also be why I didn't jump on Legend Ginrai.

I thnk the playability is better with Fort Max. I rarely move my MP Magnus around. That really goes for all of my MPs since I don't want to risk breaking them. My son is 2 1/2 and I've let him play with my FM (under close supervision) and he can sustain some rough play. Also, he really looks stunning on the shelf or wherever he's standing on your display. Legends class figures also look great with him.

As others have been sayin, Fort Max is lots of fun - having missed out on the G1 FM and Generations Metroplex, it was no question for me.

I love the MPs, but they are only meant for display and collectors. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of Fort Max - and I paid full MSRP!

Tough call. Kan is right though, one isn't better than the other. But I'd say there's more fun to be had with Max ;)^

Thanks Shajaki! Fort Max has been well worth the price in the random number of pics I've taken of him.

Back in the day, I wasn't warm to the idea of partnering with alien organics, especially as a bot's head. But damn, the concept is a lot more fun with this line of Transformers!

Two RD4Ls and a Walmart later, and still no wave3 TMs! C'mon, Oregon...

Do you want another fort max. Don't you have the g1 encore version. It is a good mold. And you can't go wrong with either version. Metro or Maxy
Inferno and ultra magnus are both great figures. If you want to get one choose which character you want more and which is better for what you want.

Simple answer, choose that Wichita brings you the most happiness. I don't get much enjoyment out of regulation line figures, as to me they are just toys, so I'd go MP Magnus. (I'm not a fan if Inferno's lack of detail.) You, are different, and I'd imagine you would probally enjoy Fort Max more.

Went out with a friend today; she was a bit late so I decided to duck into the local toy store - and while their selection was meager (of TR they had Deluxes Wave 1 & 2, Legends Wave 1 and Soundwave - no Titan Masters or Voyagers), my christmas TF haul did begin in a small way.

Rewind!!!

A bit bulkier than I'd ideally like but all in all I do really like him. Shame I don't have Chromedome on hand; I left him back at Uni since I didn't figure I'd be getting Rewind while I'm here. But I can't wait to re-unite this super space tank with his boyfriend <3
