Another rejoined the G1 reissue bandwagon:
G1 Vintage Series Decepticon Ravage & Decepticon Rumble
G1 Vintage Series Decepticon Frenzy & Decepticon Laserbeak
My wife pushed me into getting the first set, she thought the mini cassettes were cute (she still has some mini video cassettes for her camera). Only one left, or so I thought. Returned to the same Walmart I found the first the same day (groceries), no restock. I turned around, and behold, the second was in a small collectibles basket directly across the TF section. Lucky break
I wonder if I can fool my father-in-law with them...

Disappintingly for my birthday week where I actually have monies and stuff I couldn't find a damn thing in shops or reasonably priced online to buy.
So these two charity shop figures (which were in the same bag for £3) are it. Oddly they're from completely different series with the same name: Robots in Disguise
RID 2001 'Bludgeon' - yeah right, that's a yellow G2 Megatron you liars. Insulting to G1 Bludgeon fans given his fate in the G2 comics against Megatron. And it was repurposed as Shattered Glass Bludgeon where he had a cowboy gimmick instead of the usual samurai. Yeah I wasn't fond of Shattered Glass' attempt at humour. This 2003 figure uses a mold that was actually decent for it's time of original use... in 1993 a full ten years previous. Still kinda weird with the whole protruding tank chest thing. BUt eh it's a decent figure to play about with an articulated quite nicely for the time.
RID 2015 Springload - um. Ok. I guess this one's kinda amusing for about 20 seconds. I dunno. Probably re-donate it back to the charity shop.
I WANT MORE STUDIO SERIES FIGURES.

My Amazon sets haven't shipped yet.
I ordered shortly after they went online, too, since I was on vacation at the time. I did have really good luck with something on Amazon Japan that I'll share when it arrives. It was a really deep discount, but I got the last one so I didn't share.
Despite that I did have really good luck today. Hit Target and finally got my Rainmakers, then went to Walmart and got my Jetfire. Expensive, but so worth it. Jetfire is a great figure, I've been playing around with him all evening. There are a few parts that are a bit too stiff like the little folding tabs on his chest and folding pegs while other parts like the pegs that hold his wrists in place are a bit loose. They put so much thought into him, he feels like a mid to late 2000s Leader class like Cybertron Optimus Prime or Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime, not in size and bulk obviously, but care and thought. They knew what they wanted and wasn't concerned about things like too many small parts or using too much plastic leading to large caps to make it work. Compared to smaller Titans, Combiner teams and MPs, for the size and complexity $80 feels like the right price. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

I don’t know why but the way you phrased that speaks to me. I love that feeling of thoughtfulness in design, care, love if you will. Very well put Emerje dang, definitely cast a more appealing light on him for me. Thanks for that.
I have the original G1 the Classics the Thrilling 30 even a Skull Squadron Japanese original I, love, Jetfire, but this one I’ve been passing on because I’ve been so focused on Omega. I need to rethink things now. Well played my friend, well played indeed

Missed my chance to pre-order Siege Jetfire at 80$CAN. Still kicking myself over that. Even if I would pay the full 120$CAN, I couldn't because he's sold out everywhere.
At least I could internet-cheat myself a Tiny Turbo Changer as a consolation prize.

Wow I was four pages behind, but had to ooh and aah at everyone's hauls.
I got a little something dark and stormy today.

Now that I know the Autobot set completes the box art, I'm kinda bummed I not getting them, but only kinda.

Got my first BBTS order in ages. Ricochet is for my combiners loving friend. As for me, I finally decided to get TR Brainstorm. Now I only have to hunt for the G1 original version.

My hauls of late.

Been a while since I posted a haul, so I thought I'd just do a round up.
Skywarp arrived this morning. I'm Thew level crazy for Skywarp. Best Seeker of all TOIME!
Found Frenzy (yeah, I said Frenzy. Deal with it.) and Lazzorbeak yesterday. They were must haves. Never had them before. Even as a kid.
That poor Warpath has sat unopened for WAY to long. #freewarpath
Decided to dip my toe in the Spark Armor waters. I'm a fool for 5mm P&P play!
And, of course all those Siegers. I forgot to throw Red Alert, Brunt and Springer in the shot.
Gonna have a Dad's Night In tonight, and open the rest of these guys while I pop in the End Game DVD I hauled the other day.
The kid's bedtime can't come soon enough.

You mean the Prime armor gimmick? Yeah. That somehow works even worse than the attempts to integrate the HFGs as into non-combiner modes in Combiner Wars figures. At least both are easy to leave off.
I'm digging through obscure early 2000s stuff to possibly get. I want to fill out my BW/Unicron Trilogy/2003 Universe shelf a bit more with some esoteric nobodies. Picked up the RiD Nightcruz/Mirage GT/Scavenger pack and am considering other such obscure dorks as BM/Universe Blastcharge, RiD Storm Jet, and BM Night Viper.

Some amazing figures that are pretty cheap and easy to find that I can recommend you:
Beast Machines Tankor
Cybertron Downshift
Energon Autobots (all of them)
All those figures are pretty fun. Especially the Energon Autobots where you can mix and match or go absolutely nut:

I went to my first convention today, and I had my coolest experience ever as a Transformers fan.
Well, first off, I found a 99% complete DOTM Skyhammer for $5. But the best part?
I GOT TO MEET MARK RYAN!!!
(The voice of Bumblebee, Jetfire, Lockdown, and Bulldog in the movies!)
He was really nice, we got to talk about the movies for a little bit, I got a signed picture, and he signed my MPM Bumblebee!

Nice! That is awesome!
I found out David Sobolov (Depthcharge, Prime Shockwave, movie Blitzwing) is going to be at TFcon. Debating whether to get him to sign my Club Depthcharge figure, BW Depthcharge figure, or find that $20 movie Blitzwing toy and get him to sign that.

Got a pair of new Cybertron guys today, and both are wonderful! I have a monster hunter to go with ectotron, and the other toy of Longrack! This was a great $13 combined haul.
Also got this shirt, my childhood combined with my passion. It's great! It also makes it clear we need a duck billed dinobot

Anybody remember my find of Selects Red Wing on Target shelves while being a REDCard exclusive? I saw one in Clearance this time so I bit the bullet and...
No problems whatsoever. It scanned as a regular item in fact (at $29.99). So, I got a Red Wing without applying for that card.
How is that possible you may ask? It may have been a return, or shipped to store then canceled by the original customer. O well

CW Magnus is still one of my favorites. I had no need to get the Siege one because CW is so good.
