Gotta say, it's fun having 6 Smashdowns now. And i definitely feel OK with only getting 1 Soundbarrier, he is pretty lackluster

Was wondering that, myself. I asked the owner and he said it's a third party item.o.supreme wrote:Sabre....what is that tiny Grapple? Never seen that one before.

Making Skylynx CC has him scale well with all other generations combiners. We just need the same company that made the undersize KO of CW Devastator, to do one of PotP Predaking.

He is, he is a joyous little deluxe, probably the best deluxe of the trilogy so far to me

That will be because of the mass of the rocket. You'll never get a old leader sized figure of doubler dealer for that reason. If they included his power master partners he'd be either smaller or simpler

I'm waiting for comparisons with onslaught or hot-spot, they managed quite well price wise considering the mass of the ladder :p okay maybe not for onslaught but hey, will be nice to see the military vehicles together.

New Video Review of Transformers Earthrise Leader Class Doubledealer
Posted by ZeroWolf Mon Apr 20, 2020 9:04 am
While it may look like Doubledealer has been updated without his power master partners, they are being sold as part of a 4 pack via Generations Selects, along with two more of Soundwaves cassette partners.
What do you think of this review? Will you be willing to deal to get Doubledealer? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Because the legs are the same as those from Siege Prime (except some changes with how the wheels work), they carried over from Siege prime. They are used on Earthrise though, if you pop the flaps up all the way it secures the legs a little bit better.

The flaps on the knees are used in the instructions, but the hinges on the backs of the legs (the calves) seem to be totally nonfunctional artifacts, which is puzzling, as a metal pinned part would seem like an expensive inclusion...

For some reason they recycled the blue part of the lower leg (they are flipped from Siege, left leg is right) and like LeAwesome said, bit every other part of that lower leg assembly including the louvres is all new. My only guess is that the hinge is a byproduct of making the wheel assembly fit the original front piece properly, or possibly as a way to make the assembly process smoother in the factory, but I can find no part of mine that is in anyway loose and wants to move. The only other theory is that there is some retool coming down the line that may use either the hinges, the space, or swap out parts in there, explaining why they didnt cast a solid calf piece there.
EDIT:
The hinge joint in question. There are two grey segments seen and the calf is in 2 parts, the inside which forms the fifth wheel and the back and outside that the wheels snap to

As someone who owns all the cassettes released so far, including the Generations Select set I can say with absolute certainty that all the cassettes, including Ratbat & Rumble fit in Soundwave's chest, some may be more snug than others, but they can all fit.
