That's pretty much it. Orthia normally resides on my daughter's shelf (along with TR Arcee and Nautica). She is building a nice little group of female TF for herself. I asked here if she wanted Chromia, and she didn't, specifically because of the lack of compatibility w/ the others. I hope my influence was not too strong on her, I actually tried to persuade her to get a toy I REALLY didn't want, but she was adamant about NOT wanting it...so I have to respect that.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why Victorion and Megatronia are not on her shelf...It's a space issue, she only has so much. In fact the combiners are all spread across shelves in 3 rooms right now :lol: .

Well, I mean, even regardless of Chromia's lack of compatibility with the others, it's like they went out of their way to deliberately make the Chromia mold worse overall, especially with the intrusive altmode kibble hanging off her legs.

So... has anyone who ordered Galactic Man and/or Lancer from Pulse received a ship notification yet? I figured thered be a small delay, but this is really taking a while.

This might be a better fit for the *Selects* thread, but I was wondering if there were any unsold units left over from SDCC? I notice EE has them scheduled to ship in August, other sites say December though....

I mean, Galactic Man is still in stock on Pulse, but it's Lancer I really want. I have my pre-order in at BBTS, but anywhere I can get it sooner, the better (if roughly the same price, not paying scalper prices on eBay).

For me to order thought EE as opposed to BBTS would be about $2 more after its all said-and-done, but $2 isn't that big a deal if I can truly get it next month, as opposed to December.

Skyfire / Jetfire is finally available on the BBTS.

And as of writing this, available to pre-order from Amazon, their release date is: July 29, 2019 (if you trust that.)

Hey, I disagree. I think Chromia's a decent and rather fun figure, and her weapons have some fun possibilities - possibly the most of any figure in the line. And I like that her altmode better resembles the van from the cartoon than the T30 version did.
WANT:
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

I kinda agree with you, but that humongous backpack really turns me off (especially when compared to the rest of the Siege line), because unlike the Voyagers who have backpacks, hers is cluttered and doesn't work for her character (unlike Megatron, who I think rocks the backpack this way, or Prime).

Everything else is fine. Articulation is the Siege standard, so I'm fine with that. Robot mode from the front looks good, and I do like the alt mode. Plus those weapons are pretty cool.

In the end, it might be that I have no connection with her character, but I just don't want to spend my hard earned cash on this figure. I collect only the best, and unfortunately she doesn't do that for me. That doesn't mean she's bad though, because she's pretty good, just not what I want in Siege.

Despite her shared failings with her mold sisters, Chromia does do a few things better. Her feet, for one thing. Also her overall sculpt is really really nice, and like Zelda mentioned, her gun/weapons are really cool. I really can't decide if I like her better than T30 or not. And I don't feel like it's a decision I need to make! :lol:

Just curious. Does TRU in Canada, or any other B&M retailer have Jetfire, or is it online only?

Siege Chromia's backpack is no worse or better than the ugly MASSIVE backpacks that the whole female combiner-family of molds are rocking--for me that makes that Chromia perfectly fine. She's different looking and if I am willfully ignoring all the pack aesthetics anyway....

Right now it is only on TRU website. But a local collectable retailer (called CMD) does have him in store. That was the retailer which first gave us a listing for Apeface.

As someone who has T30 Chromia, I truly don't see the point of the Siege one. Isn't she almost a Scout Class?

and thats a positive point about the matching battle damage, you can change the coloured limbs and the batle damage would still be the same.

Sorry I should have been specific, the old IDW version who entered continuity with Windblade and Nautica as part of the Dark Cybertron event. That's who the T30 was modeled on before the line became slaves to G1 toon accuracy.

"IDW1" and "IDW2" are good labels to distinguish the two.

Or "IDW 2005" and "IDW 2019", for more precision.
