The mold seem is far more defined creating more friction to keep his head up in robot mode insteas of sinking into his chest

it never sank, there was always friction there. you seem to have the exact same toy as the rest of us do and not a running change. The point was that it didnt lock and was just held by friction. If your actually locked, like you couldnt press it more down, then that would be a running change.

So the twitter report of a running change is full of it then,

WAIT, what do mean lock? like an loud click or it staying put unless you force it? Because mine doesnt click or make a popping sound but it is harder to move the panel out or push it down, when the panel gets to neck level,
https://i.imgur.com/ylzTkAu.mp4 it's more or less friction locked in place,

william-james88 wrote:thats the same, I really mean lock. as far as I know, no one has a megatron who's head is loose enough to fall in robot mode.

william-james88 wrote:I am sure there is a gradient, these mass produced toys cant be all perfectly the same. All I meant to say is that unless there is an actual lock I would be hard pressed to say there is a running change rather than simply some variation of friction from product to product.

I don't know why you're fighting this so hard, if the neck plate looks different, that would constitute a running change, if it doesn't then tryp is just lucky, just do some investigative journalism

Yeah, I need to know too, this is intriguing since my figure looks the same as everyone else's. Is it the neck flap? Mine is still tight like new, so that doesn't bother me one bit.
P.S., does anyone have a problem getting the front section of Siege Megatron's tank mode into the notches up front? It's not the actual tabbing that's the issue, but it's getting that part between the tank treads. There is almost no clearance, and requires me bending the plastic a little to otherwise do so, and I'm worried that I'll break it.
Yup, another reason why I just don't like this mold

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

their's on the left mine is on the right, it seems to be a smooth line unless the flash washed out any and all detailing or definition on that side

Am i looking at tje right thing? Both images have an extra line going through the halfway mark. Mine does too
Emerje wrote:Yes, when I compare my first run Siege Megatron to my Selects G2 Megatron the ridge is noticeably thicker on the G2 version and there's more friction. I can easily see it turn up on standard Siege Megs since the mold would have been modified and is still in use.

Mine's from January before the Selects megatron was released or announced at all, so more could be in the wild, A running change for Megatron is possible, unlike starscream, where we had no reports after that one dude

I see it now, thanks. That is indeed different.

Mine is from January as well. I got mine in Canada when they were first found in stores.
