If not, you MUST have a conversation with the accountant about getting the reissue coming out in May. It's $190 domestically, even cheaper abroad... Considering the first and second releases were $250 and $300, respectively, this is quite the deal!!!

I don't remember hearing about a TRU re-release of this figure, but you were likely around 2 years ago when the debacle that was the MP-10 release happened. Very limited time online to reserve one for $100, but came out on store shelves at $120. Was going about $200 on the secondary market.

There WAS the Asia re-release from BBTS for $160, but it's sold out now. I've heard from others that the Takara version had better colors (such as a darker blue). I'm double-dipping for the Takara version that's coming out this summer. I implore you to do the same, especially since you don't have any version of this guy.

Im like this close to pulling the trigger on these guys. But I really need to see how big the torso is going to make the combiner. I really hope they pull a Leo Dux and not a Warbotron with Hun-Grrr.

Are comparison shots so much to ask for?

Well, Abominus is looking quite nice. Come on, preorders for the last two! Striker needs his eighth G1 combiner!

What's annoying me is that we've already seen Ordin a number of times. We've seen one low res example of Cutthroat in robot mode, and naff all of Hunn-Gurr. With the three releases so far arguably worse than the one that came before it, how bad can the last two be?

I dont want an Abominus with wings. And if that Springer on the bottom is any indication of height, he is way too out of scale for my collection. Shame, but my wallet does need a break.

It isn't. Springer is on the shelf below Ordin's and it makes the scaling comparison wonky.

Also, displaying the wings like that is entirely optional.

Thanks, I didn't realize that. But Ive noticed UT is being very particular about who Ordin is posed next to in the few pics released. They don't display him next to their War Lord Predaking or any other 3rd party combiner. I think they are trying to avoid the reaction Warbotron got and sell more individual figures. I'm holding out until I know for sure it scales decent with Quantron or Feral Rex. Even if it means paying more.

Who do I have to beg to take a pic next to feral rex or herc or a CW combiner so I can make a damn decision already ?

Who are you begging? None of us here have a complete Ordin, that I know of....

No leg mode for Cutthroat and no parts to allow Blot to be an arm make this project a loser for me.

My theory is they want to get as many pre-orders as possible before revealing a height difference that may turn away some buyers.
