He'll be my one and only Headmaster figure in my collection.
A large part of the appeal with TF for me is the nostalgia... So G1, even with all its flaws, is what I’m interested in.
Headmasters are probably very cool... However I’m just not that interested.
But, I still got Skullcruncher yesterday!!!!
Sowndwave76 wrote:Double true...
I wasn’t specific enough in my last post...
While the nostalgia for me is limited to G1, it’s literally limited within G1 so to speak...
By the time Headmasters was ever a part of the cartoon, I had reached a stage in my youth where I had lost interest in toys... Soccer, drumming, & art pretty much ruled my life.
Either way...
I was tempted to get Weirdwolf that same day, but I’m hoping some of the recent leaked info ends up coming to fruition... So I’m trying to keep my spending in check for a while.
edit:
Also, as I looked at Skullcruncher again this morning, with that packaging, I'm tempted to keep him sealed in the box... If he were packaged in bot mode I would really be leaning towards that.
Like the vast majority of my other figures, I probably will wait to open him, even though I'm a bit anxious to have him in robot mode in-hand.

There's no longer any searing marks inside the hip socket, the plastic has been visibly made thicker via some kind of small retool.

It's funny how all TR Brainstorms have been exclusives: Walgreens, SDCC and now Walmart.

Was Takara's exclusive as well?

Maybe the rubber wings haven't held up well for some people and they're buying replacements?aronjlove wrote:I really, really wish I had picked up Mindwipe when I saw him as I have seen every other figure restocked several times. Why no Mindwipe???
