What, if at all, is the difference between:

Slingshot- a basic weapon, costs 600 and does light to very heavy damage with no recharge,

and a Double-Barrelled Plasma Shell Shotgun, level 2 fire-power, no recharge, causes light to very heavy damage yet costs 30,000.

Where's the justification in that price for weapons that do exactly the same thing?

... more to the point, why would a slingshot do the same damage as a shotgun?

Frankly, I've tried some of the various weapons. I have not found a vastly significant difference between the X-ray laser and the higherpowered weapons. I'm sure that there are indeed statistical differences, but, At the lower levels, I'd reccommend just using the x-ray laser.

I've upgraded some to the double barrelled shotgun simply cuz I needed a place to put some of my XP points and have the energon to burn.

the slingshot doesn't do the same damage as the shotgun. damage is proprotional to the stats required to wield the weapon,

the enrgon cost is whatever caelus decided it should be so don't put any correlation between that and damage

just get the cheapest no recharge weapon with as many stats as you can spare.
