Exactly, I too had a character named Nemesis Prime before I ever came to Seibertron or Hasbro ever started using it.

I was going to come in and add my say to this just prior to my situation. There were only 5 replies when I looked at it then. :lol:

I can go ahead and say that this new Megatron: Origins comic story is a flattering plagiarism of my old 21-year old Metatisic G1 trilogy that I’ve been featuring here at Seibertron for the last 4 years now and, Hell! I have ample prove of this fact that include all the horrid marker drawings I thought for sure were brilliant ’masterpieces’ at age 11 ---- but still by no means is the idea original.

Maximus Prime is, well .. he’s MP .. He’s Maximus Prime. And if you (or anyone else) were to refer to that name I would most certainly think you were meaning ‘our’ Maximus Prime just like Burn is Burn, Dynamax is Dynamax, or Mkall is Mkall. If it’s any comfort, I’ve since a few ‘Shinju-chan’ floating around the interenet.

I picked my name from an amalgamation of Fortress Maximus and (obviously) Optimus Prime, and nothing else.
Google Maximus Prime. There are so many people that use that username that it isn't even close to original.
Not to mention the Maximus Prime Miniture Pups, or the "other" Maximus Prime on MySpace, or some guy on the Wu-Tang Corp. site, or even some band from Germany, or a motorcycle.
Don't flatter yourself by thinking that I used "your" character's name as my own. In fact, don't even take my join date as an indication that I started 'being' Maximus Prime at that time. The boards went through a reset years ago and that was the approximate date I joined, not the actual. I actually joined the site in the fall of 2000, and my HMW character was named soley from my username.

So no matter what you look at I can assure you that Maximus Prime is in no way, shape or form "your" creation.
You may have a version of MP, but he is no more yours than he is mine.
And when people talk about Maxmus Prime, good or bad, it will most likely be me they're referring to.

Oh, and Redimus, I love you too.
