Since he was said to be out end of February, I preordered him and Evil Star (Not astrotrain) the same day from the same retailer asking that they wait for Apollyon to be ready to ship the whole package (and save on shipping). So whenever this guy gets delayed, so does my order. I cant wait to get these guys!!!!!!

I wouldnt go that far, but I do agree he's not as bad as some are making out, I think the main area of concern is those diecast rods the arms are connected too, it all looks a little delicate, having said that I cant think of any other way of getting the arms where they need to be, so yeah complicated and fiddly but only because in needs to be.

How about MP03 based Walmart Starscream? ULTRA FIDDLY I looked at him today and he fell over. Maybe I shouldn't have moved him beforehand.

I'm still in on this guy. And kudos to XT for acknowledging the issues and supplying us fixes! So just over a month from know we should have him in hand?! Yeaaaaaah buddy!!

I've never owned MP-03 so I can't comment on that, but I hear that MP-11 made the transformation process a lot smoother. X-Transbots look like they are really trying to create the perfect figure here, I just hope they don't get bogged down with getting every little thing perfect, I think getting the ball joints and elbow swivel sorted is as far as they need to go.

Agreed LL, all of the other aspects of the figure look to be on point with no adjustments necessary.

Yeah, I have both SS and SW from the Walmart releases and then got Thundercracker from TRU. So much better.

Can't wait to have MP05 permanently in Walther P38 mode! All hail Apollyon!!

so in Peaugh's review where he broke the "+" peg, he said it was his fault and that it would be fine if he hadn't twisted it... at the 1:28 mark where he broke it i didn't see any twist, what is he talking about? he just pulled straight, anyone see this twist he said he did that broke this peg?

He does mention it at 00:41, he states that the stock droops and that was his fault and will get to it later, he then dismantles the stock at 01:28, where he explains that he twisted where he shouldn't have and that "weakend" the peg, I thinks what has happened is he damaged that tab off camera and outright broke it on camera.

I am pretty sure the reason preorders have not sold out yet is because the toy hasnt reached the final production phase. They are taking in as many orders as possible to get an idea of the demand and then making as many as needed. But once the toy comes out and all the orders have been fulfilled, then there might not be too many produced past that point until they are willing to focus their resources on a reissue. That's the way I see it.

Thanks to all! Needing 4 new tires gets expensive, hopefully I'll have the extra fundage in May, just in time for release!

I'm pretty sure they'll do another run, with how focused they've been on QC and all. I think we've all agreed that there really isn't much TT/Hasbro could do to make this guy better (as is) other than having "Megatron" and the Decepticon sigil on the box and toy

Shame you had to cancel your pr order man, but I get why some things are simply more important than transforming plastic toys. I'm pretty confident there will be a second run, X-Transbots are sitting on a goldmine here they would be foolish not to release further/ alternative versions.

Thanks LL. I'm not sure if tires are REALLY more important, safer for my family for sure I really thought I had it budgeted. A $150 Transformer showing up after I dropped $500+ on tires and services might not go over well I just don't want to be left out of the awesomeness of Apollyon like I was with Quakewave. Really mis-judged the heat for that figure.

So a word of caution. Budget toy purchases better.

Probably wouldn't go over as bad if I didn't just buy CW Megatron and MP Prowl..and CW Optimus

It's a fantastic figure. Hegemon is a solid entry in the world of Megatron. Scary at first, in terms of transformation, but becomes a really nice figure in the end. Absolutely worth $100.00+

I too was not a fan of the Hegemon figure. This coming from a guy who has Classics Voyager "Nerf Gun" Megatron. Commence head shaking BUT Classics Megatron was $24.99 or $19.99 or somefin'? So I can live with the Nerfness.

Hasbro DOES own Nerf, why no firing darts?!
