Amazon's IDW based Transformers Legacy subline is going for some really deep cuts. Thanks to JTPrime17, we now have a product code for an upcoming two pack featuring Javelin and Kaskade. Both these characters were first introduced in the new 2019 IDW continuity which is probably why an extremely small number of you reading this news are aware of their existence. These are both female characters and we have images of them below.

Thanks to a heads-up from our own Sabrblade, we have our first look at the Junkion combiner teased by designer Mark Maher in the Hasbro Pulse livestream this morning. Feast your eyes on.....
Using Trashmaster as the torso, Scraphook and Axlegrease as legs, and Crashbar and another (unrevealed Junkion?) as arms, Junkasaurus comes together looking pretty awesome. Mark revealed this on social media just a little while ago, and we're glad to bring this to your attention!
What do you all think about this combined mode? Are you going to get those Junkions you may have missed or on so you can create your own Junkasaurus? Let us know your thoughts below!
Thanks to Seibertronian sol magnus for pointing us to a first look at Legacy Evolution Bombshell set to be released as part of Wave 4. The photos come from madie_is__gone on Instagram and ze collecter on TFW2005. We now know for sure that the figure will feature purple like the original toy rather than gray like the cartoon. Also in addition to his regular gun first seen on the vintage figure he'll have two extra guns that, like Shrapnel, will for his bug legs.
Do you think they'll do a gray version later, maybe as an exclusive? Want to share your thoughts on the figure? Head to the Energon Pub forums and let us know!
Thanks to Seibertronian Munkky we have a new batch of leaks from Jtprime17 for the 2024 Legacy line. The first two figures take place of the previous leak that called the figures "Rock 1" and "Rock 2". And if you weren't already thinking "Rock Lords" with that clue then the names Bouldercrash and Magneous sounding so close to good and evil Rock Lord leaders Boulder and Magmar should really cinch it. We also have our first mention of a Deluxe Optimus Prime, something we've seen in the child centered lines like Cyberverse and Earthspark, but it's been many years since we've had a new Deluxe Prime in the "main line". And with all the new Unicron Trilogy figures that have been showing up in Legacy it's shouldn't be a huge suprise that we have a listing for Cybertron Vector Prime who should go nicely with the previous Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime from the previous Trilogy and last year's Titan Metroplex and Velocitron Override. Also for a Voyager we have Origin Wheeljack who will mostly certainly be a Target exclusive next year. Final figure in this batch is Armada Galvatron who I'm not sure a lot of people expected to be a retail figure.

Since we're getting four wave in Evolution this year the soonest we'll see any of these figures in store is late winter or early spring 2024 at best. Anything here getting you excited? Let us know in the Energon Pub forums!
Thanks to a listing on ebay, we have a potential first look at a figure likely intended for the Walmart exclusive Toxitron Collection. This line features characters in decos intended for their original toys, to be released in the G2 line of the 1990s. We can see Mirage here in his unreleased watermelon bubblegum pink and green G2 deco.
This figure appears to use the Kingdom Mirage mold, with alligator logos on the spoiler, and a G2 Autobot logo on the front of the vehicle mode. Whether this is a yet to be revealed figure, or will show up with no announcement or reveal from Hasbro or Walmart (similar to Crasher and G2 Dragstrip) is still to be seen.
Is this figure of any interest to you? Do you want to see even more unreleased decos on modern figures? Let us know your thoughts on this figure and what other G2 decos you might like to see in the comments below!
Fellow eagle eyed Seibertronian Nemesis Primal has kept an eye on the asian toy markets where sellers list new toys before they are revealed. Well, at the same site where we had our fisrt indication for Magnificus, we have a listing for an upcoming Rodimus Unicronus toy. No picture of the actual toy is provided, but smart money is on this being a redeco of SS86 Hot Rod. We do not know if it would be released in the Shattered Glass line or as Rodimus Unicronus in another line like Generations Selects. Let us know if that would interest you.
Nemesis Primal wrote:Remember when we found out Selects Magnificus existed because some guy sold an early copy on Shopee as "Shattered Glass Perceptor"? Well in a very similar vein, someone recently put up a new listing on there for "Rodimus Unicronus", using a picture of specifically the inner bot from the PotP figure and a price that falls between Voyager and Leader when converted to USD. Based on that, it seems to me like there's a solid chance that one of the other Shattered Glass figures for the year after Grimlock is Rodimus, most likely from the SS86 mold.
We have an interesting bit of news to bring to you all. Thanks to Seibertronian fonziechavez for this. He recently received his order of Crosscut from Hasbro Pulse, who's a recolor of the Burnout version of the Legacy Skids mold. But as you can clearly see from the pictures below, his Crosscut figure was packed in the wrong box, instead of Crosscut's own. The box and box art belong to Medix, an Autobot brought into Legacy as a G1 version of the character from the Transformers Rescue Bots line. Medix is rumored to be this year's store exclusive for Walgreens, continuing their tradition of having an exclusive with a medical or science theme (Brainstorm, Ratchet, Minerva....(and for some reason, Bluestreak). Check out the pictures below!
As can be clearly seen from these images, Medix is a re-use of the Crankcase version of the Skids/Burnout/Crosscut/Crankcase mold, with the masked head originally used on Burnout from the Velocitron Speedia 500 line. He'll apparently come with translucent red versions of the weapons that originally came with Legacy Elita-1 and Minerva, as well as the grille-gun and pistol from Crankcase.
So what do you all think of this packaging error that gives us a first look at Medix's box? Has anyone else gotten any Legacy figures with similar mistakes? Let us know in the forums and the comments below!
Well this is a surprise! We've gotten word of an until-now unknown 2-pack that was sighted at a Canadian GameStop store, consisting of two characters from the G1 episode War Dawn, those of Ariel and Dion, Orion Pax's girlfriend and best friend, respectively. These two figures look to be remolds and recolors of Legacy Prime Arcee and Studio Series 86 Kup. Ariel's name is spelled "Erial" here, likely as to not conflict with a certain trademarked mermaid.
These were found at GameStop in Canada, and posted by @id_armed on Twitter. As the set was street-dated for early April, it wasn't able to be purchased, but we do have images of both the front and back of the box.
So what do you all make of this? When it's released, do you plan on picking it up? Let us know your thoughts below.
Thanks to Seibertronian Dominus Prime, we have our first video review of the upcoming not-yet-officially-revealed Commander Class Armada Optimus Prime! The video review comes to us from Chefatron, and he shows off several comparison shots with the original Armada Optimus Prime, as well as several other versions of more recently released Optimus figures. Other still shots below show off the figure with previous Commander Class figures Jetfire and Motormaster (in his combined form as Menasor. He looks like a good solid, chunky figure.
Now, onto the review!
So what do you all think? Are you looking forward to this figure even more now? Still not a big fan? Let us know your thoughts on the Energon Pub forums!
While there's no official confirmation of the Commander Class figure for the Legacy Evolution line, it's widely speculated to be Optimus Prime from the Transformers: Armada cartoon. Thanks to Seibertronian Casey280, we have an image from a Twitter account, though the exact account isn't currently known. The image shows what appears to be Armada Optimus Prime in robot mode, truck mode, and super robot mode. While the origin of the image is unknown, it looks to be a similar style to previously leaked figures. It also doesn't appear to be the Armada Optimus figure shown some years back, but a brand new mold.
Additionally, thanks to a tip from Seibertronian Omegatron., we were pointed in the direction of the Transformers Botposting group on Facebook, we have an in hand image of the toy in truck mode.
Hopefully, we'll get a confirmation or reveal of this toy soon, but until we do, what do you all think? Let us know in the comments below!
