Here's the trailer that's the talk of the community at the moment. It's for the new BotBots show coming out next month on Netflix. As you can see in the trailer, the show really commits to the lore brought on by the toyline, with the idea of different tribes and it stars the lost Bots. You will see that several different animation techniques are blended together similarly to the beloved World of Gumball show. So far, the trailer seems to have redeemed a lot of fears fans had but let us know if you feel the same.
Also, interesting to see that Pizza vehicle in action in the trailer. Hopefully that means it will finally be coming out (image below).
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 22, 2022) - Hasbro’s entertainment studio, eOne, and Netflix launch TRANSFORMERS: BOTBOTS, the first ever comedy series in the beloved TRANSFORMERS franchise, set to premiere on March 25, 2022 on Netflix with 10, twenty-two minute episodes.
TRANSFORMERS: BOTBOTS is an animated series, full of high energy humor that will delight kids, transporting the next generation of viewers into a brand new world of mischievous little ‘bots. When a mall is hit with Energon, everyday objects from the food court, the hardware store and other locations spring to life and convert into tiny Transformers robots called BotBots.
This series offers a little something for everyone as BotBots come in a wide and unique range of hysterical characters, who are the epitome of… MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE. They formed squads based on the store they came from, but not every ‘bot was in their correct store when they came to life. By day, these BotBots hide quietly on mall store shelves but at night, they jump headfirst into adventure until a misfit group of BotBots called ‘The Lost Bots’ run into the mall security guard and put all the ‘bots in danger. Will these zany ‘bots be able to overcome their differences, defeat the security guard and gain acceptance with the other ‘bots? The entire family will enjoy this hilarious new series that is silly, wacky, and fun!
Executive produced by Kevin Burke and Chris “Doc” Wyatt (Spider-Man, Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy, Stretch Armstrong & the Flex Fighters) they also serve as showrunners on the series.

Man, 2022 is shaping up to be full of new media for kid after all. Yesterday we got our first look at the upcoming Transformers Earth Spark show and now we learn that the Botbots show is coming out next month. It will be up on Netflix March 24th. This is part of a series of banners for kids shows coming out in march which also includes Hasbro's Power Rangers. You can check out the image below which show us what the animation will look like.
Hopefully that means those BotBots vehicle playsets are finally going to come out too.
We were supposed to have a new Transformers cartoon for kids this year but had heard very little from it since the initial announcement. Well, now we have our first look at the animation style and designs thanks to a short clip and some stills. We see the bots that are adopted by a human family, they appear to be new characters. We also see Bumblebee for a split second in the clip along with Optimus Prime and Elita 1. The designs are said to be new but that Optimus resembles the evergreen look he has had across different media for years.
We should be getting a toyline for kids to accompany this new show this year too. Lots of fun new stuff coming to the Transformers brand. I know my kid is excited, let us know if yours are as well.
Japan may have forced the cancellation of yet another Wonder Festival, but Good Smile Company still managed to hold a virtual version of their con-within-a-con Wonderful Hobby Life For You 35 this past weekend. And mixed in with the many, many dozens of new figures on display among their many, many partner companies was none other than Starscream in Nendoroid form. He's looking great, and like Megatron will certainly come with a nice selection of expressions, though he already seems to come default with the best one, that smirk. Whatever else he might come with hasn't been revealed just yet.
Since this was just announced it'll probably be a little while longer before pre-orders open, but he's currently scheduled for June 2022 so probably wont be much longer. This marks the third Decepticon to hit the line after Megatron and Nemesis Prime so we should hopefully have another Autobot to go with Optimus Prime announced soon enough.

With no official word from Takaratomy about Masterpiece Cliffjumper, this next story should be taken with a grain of salt.
The Japanese Transformers fan blog Autobase Aichi has reported on news that was originally found on Chinese social media, that of a comparison between the potential Masterpiece Cliffjumper figure, and the figure it shares parts with, MP-45 Bumblebee.
Check out the images below:
What do you think of this? Is this the Masterpiece Cliffjumper you wanted?
