We saw the three variants of the Hasbro Transformers Pez candy dispensers back during SDCC 2015 - but we also a sighting of Megatron, Optimus and Bumblebee shooting sweets in your mouth from fellow Seibertronian Bronzewolf who found all of the dispensers in a store (no further information) in Denver, Colorado, for $1.99. There isn't that much on Amazon Prime Day in terms of Transformers deals - however, two Lightning Deals started at Noon Eastern time for TF Prime Voyager Predaking and the Covenant of Primus, as notified by podcaster xRotorstormx.

The two items will be at the reduced price of $29.99 for the book and $16.99 for the toy - only for a couple more hours, and with limited quantities in stock! As fellow Seibertron.com member ScottyP said: "Could be thousands of 'em, could be 10".

Fellow Seibertronian fenrir72 notified us of an update on the officially licensed OriToys Hero of Steel Optimus Prime we reported on from the Hong Kong Ani-Com - as the company have released a 3D print of the product in its prototype stage on their blog, and which you can check out below! There is still no confirmation as to whether this impressively posable figure will transform, but from the pictures, it seems unlikely at this stage.

With new presentation and super articulations, Hero of steel will be an ultimate collection series of our dream super robots!

HOS 01 - Optimus Prime is the first Hero we bring to you. The preliminary prototype is under motion test and final prototype will see you soon in HKACG 2015!

Let's take a minute to chill and escape the craziness and hype of SDCC, and focus on something a bit more sedate.

Hasbro's new information subscription system, Hasbro Pulse, has begun shipping their welcome packages to those of us who signed up! You can read more about this free service by clicking here.

Yours truly just received his packet in the mail this afternoon and I almost missed it, it comes in a very battered plain white envelope, with a tiny address label to tell you what it is. (I almost tossed it!)

Inside came a lanyard tag for preferential treatment at Hasbro's SDCC booth, a welcome card and an issue of IDW's Combiner Wars, featuring an exclusive cover comprised of figures instead of hand drawn art.

All for free, can't beat that!

The next non-SDCC 2015 piece of news comes from TAG Hobby, which shows us a new Hasbro Transformers licensed figure produced by OriToy, which will be launched in grey primer and available at Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong 2015 (24-28 July). Check out some info and the image below!

As the first licensed item by HASBRO, HERO OF STEEL – OPTIMUS PRIME will meet you all at HKACG15. ASIAGOAL is our official distributor and the prototype of this (in Grey primer) will be displayed at their booth (C18-21) in the show.There will be special offer for anyone pre-order this OPTIMUS PRIME at the show.
