Hasbro has just announced on their Facebook page that they are going to be making a very big move, in the very real sense. Headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA, for over a century, they announced today that they will be moving their headquarters to Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Hasbro was founded in Rhode Island in 1923 as a company selling textile remnants, and in the following years, pencils and school supplies. They didn't really start selling and focusing on toys until the mid 1940s.
While there's no stated impact to the various brands Hasbro owns (G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, etc, and of course, Transformers), it remains to be seen if the move will have any impact to those brands. Hasbro maintains that they will still be very much involved in the Pawtucket and greater Rhode Island area as far as partnerships and sponsorships go.
Those it will immediately affect, of course, are the Hasbro employees, who now face the option of moving to Boston, which is about an hour's commute from Pawtucket, or making the drive or taking a train for hours each day.
The reasons Hasbro gives for the move can be found in the article, but what it boils down to is a greater need for bigger and better options when it comes to logistics and creative talent. Hasbro hopes to complete the move by the end of 2026. Click on the photo below to be taken to the post.

After months of rumors and last week's teasing, the next entry into Takara Tomy's amazing Transformers Missing Link toy line has been fully revealed. The Autobot City Commander Ultra Magnus will join his fellow Autobots in March of 2026, and he's bringing along a friend or two for the ride. Not only will Ultra Magnus include a Diaclone driver figure, but this release will feature the first ever reissue (or at least sort of reissue as it appears to be all new tooling) of the Diaclone Powered Buggy mold, this time in blue and named Deer Stalker with, best we can tell, no relation to the Battle Beast of the same name.
Preorders are open for the figure now at Amazon Japan and other Japanese retailers, with many other worldwide outlets sure to follow soon.
Check out several images of the toy mirrored below, which show off the toy's added articulation, interactivity with other Missing Link and G1 toys, Deer Stalker, all of the trailer's modes and the sublime molded and painted detailing representative of the sticker designs from the original G1 Ultra Magnus toy.

We have more stock images for the upcoming deluxe Earthspark Cosmos along with his instructions, courtesy of Hasbro who just uploaded them to their site. And from the looks of it, this is one unique design where his hollowness is a feature. A lot of thought went into this toy as he was used as a theme park ride on the show, at first, where his innards were hollow. This is replicated in the toy, which not only gives us the result of a big boy at the deluxe level but also allows his legs to fold up inside his big body in alt mode. The transformation is very out of the box and you can see it below.

As you may have gathered from our recent posts, wave 3 of Age of the Primes is out in Canada. Voyagers and deluxes have been found at Walmart. The specific sightings come from Ontario and Quebec. For those wondering, here are the wave contents:
Deluxe:
Aerialbot Fireflight
The Thirteen Micronus Prime
Aerialbot Skydive
Venin
Voyager:
The Thirteen Alpha Trion
Flatline
These were all found at Walmart. While this is earlier than other regions, it does mean that several stores will thus be skipping wave 2, for deluxes, which have been very sparse. We also have reviews of this wave's contents after the images.

Age of the Primes wave 3 is out and some fans, including myself, have made reviews of Micronus Prime, the latest Prime to be released. You can check out the videos below. From the review below, you'll notice that it is a very interesting deluxe as it is a minicon in a mech suit. The toy has come out in Canadian Walmarts along with the two remaining Aerialbots in the wave and Insecticon Venin.

Venin is out and some fans, including myself, have made reviews. You can check them out below. Venin marks the last of the G1 deluxe Insecticons and Hasbro finished that set off with the only one to get a mold all to themselves. From the review below, you'll notice that it is a very odd toy though. The toy has come out in Canadian Walmarts along with the two remaining Aerialbots in the wave and Micronus Prime.

Infantry has teamed up with Transformers for a special collaboration called the Collection Watch Series, which features six different designs. I had the chance to photograph and review the Infantry x Transformers Watch (Prime), better known as the Optimus model. It combines practical features like a quartz movement and stopwatch functions with design elements inspired by Optimus Prime, making it both a wearable watch and a collectible for fans. Each model can be ordered directly, but Infantry also offers blind-box versions that are currently priced lower and add the surprise factor along with the chance of scoring a limited edition.
I was able to check out the Optimus model firsthand thanks to Infantry and put together a full photo gallery. As part of the blind-box series, this watch captures the look and spirit of Optimus Prime in a chronograph that feels solid and well built. Even the packaging adds to the experience, with an unboxing that feels closer to opening a collector’s figure than a standard wristwatch.
What really stands out is how well the design blends Transformers details into a watch you can actually wear every day. The polished silver case looks sharp against the black strap with its blue stitching, and the blue rim with silver lettering adds just enough pop around the dial. The face shows Optimus Prime in blueprint-style line art, paired with the Transformers logo and a red Autobot badge. Fans will spot it right away, but it is not so bold that it feels out of place outside the fandom.
The Optimus watch is not just for show. It keeps time with a quartz movement, has a 24 hour display, luminous hands for low light, and a working stopwatch. The 42mm case gives it some presence without feeling oversized, the mineral glass helps protect it from scratches, and the strap is easy to adjust and comfortable to wear.
At 60 dollars it hits a sweet spot, giving fans something that works as both a practical watch and a collectible piece. In the gallery you can see all the details up close, from the finish on the case to the packaging it comes in. I also had some fun pulling out older Transformers watches for comparison shots, like G1 Autoceptor, Deceptor, Kaltor, and G2 Scorpia. Even bigger figures like Armada Unicron and Power of the Primes Predaking show up, making the shoot a playful mix of new and old Transformers history.

Seibertron.com has added three new galleries from Takara’s Galaxy Force line, each released as a limited DVD pack-in during the series’ original run in Japan. These rare exclusives join our growing archive of Galaxy Force and Cybertron toys, and follow closely on the heels of our recent Walmart exclusive Age of the Primes Sideways and Excellion galleries.
Noisemaze Mass Production Type Version
The Noisemaze Mass Production Type Version was included with the thirteenth and final Galaxy Force DVD in 2006. A redeco of Galaxy Force Noisemaze, known to Hasbro fans as Cybertron Sideways, this figure represented the mass troop type seen in the series, though it was only offered as a DVD bonus. A full gallery of the standard Takara Noisemaze has also been completed and will be posted soon.
Chromia White Version
Released with the ninth Galaxy Force DVD in 2005, the Chromia White Version redeco gave the mold a white and red color scheme as a nod to Masterforce Minerva. The original Galaxy Force Chromia was released by Hasbro as Thunderblast, while this redeco was later repurposed as Cybertron Autobot Chromia. The mold also appeared as BotCon Elita-1.
Exillion Red Version
Bundled with the first Galaxy Force DVD in 2005, the Exillion Red Version redeco gave the figure a look reminiscent of Generation 1 Hot Rod. While still representing Exillion in the fiction, this release would later inspire Hasbro to issue a similar version as Cybertron Excellion. The base mold was originally released by Hasbro as Cybertron Hot Shot.

Takara has revealed through Amazon a new core bot in the Transformers Wild King line, World Dragnus. His official number is WKEX-01 and he turns into a Dragon. It having 10 different configurations shown gives flashbacks to RID Megatron. There are two smaller bots which combine to make this a larger dragon and, of course, it combines in a myriad of ways with the other existing toys in the Wild King line. This toy will be coming out in October, you can check out the images below. We also have a preorder link, but there may be trouble ordering from Japan for Americans. The price is $75 USD.

If you're an American and you've got any pre-orders coming out of Japan at the end of August, maybe 40th Selection Lio Convoy which was delayed to this month, well, you're going to be waiting a little longer. As of August 27 Japan Post is suspending all shipments to the United States. That includes EMS, parcel, small packet and everything else in between. This is on top of DHL also suspending shipments from most (all?) exporters in Japan, leaving really no options to get stuff out of Japan short of freight. And just to add insult to injury this administration has also brought an end to de minimis exemptions, the rule that prevented duties on imports for personal use totaling less than $800 from all countries as of August 28. How that works out is not quite known, some say there's a $80 flat rate on all imports while others say it's 15% up to $80. This uncertainty is part of the reason why Japan Post is suspending deliveries in the first part.
Below is the statement from Japan Post as it appears in English on their website.
On July 30, 2025, the U.S. government issued an executive order titled “Termination of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries” regarding mail to the United States.
Under this executive order, starting August 29, 2025, mail containing goods imported for personal use (taxable mail) will no longer be eligible for duty-free treatment, and tariffs will be imposed. On August 15, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced new guidelines regarding the elimination of de minimis rules, which require that transport operators pay customs deposits to CBP and prepare customs declarations. The procedures that transport operators and postal operators in each country must follow to comply with these guidelines are not clear, however, making implementation difficult.
Therefore, starting August 27 (Wed.), in line with other national postal operators, we will temporarily suspend the acceptance of postal items (small packets, parcels, and EMS (goods)) to the United States that contain the following items:
Individual gifts with a content value exceeding 100 US dollars
Goods intended for sale for consumption
In addition, we will continue to accept letters, postcards, printed matter, EMS (documents), and postal items (small packets, parcels, and EMS (goods)) containing gifts between individuals with a value of less than US$100.
As an alternative to the above suspension of acceptance, our international courier service, UGX (U-Global Express), can handle shipments in compliance with U.S. customs regulations:
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
The latest information on the status of international mail items to be sent to destination countries and regions can be found here.
This is going to put a big damper on Americans importing from Japan until things are sorted out. Let us know in the Seibertron Energon Pub forums if you're being affected by this.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast has returned from their local polling location, except not really. Most of the cast, comprising host ScottyP and regulars Aaarnhide19, Counterpunch and Kuhlio, can't even get to the polls since they're located inside Zuckerberg's wild ride. That doesn't stop them from telling the Transformers community what's best for them and Shockwave. There's also plenty of other Transformers talk including in-hand impressions of the highly anticipated, recently release Studio Series Megatron.
Episode #382 “Vote or Die” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
SS86 Megatron is in hand, and has DEMANDED to become a full topic. Find out if the new release is an instrument of destruction, or can proceed on his way to oblivion.
Shockwave has won at the polls. Now as fans we need to decide what alt mode our favorite senator will take. The cast provides the real answers Senator Cyclops refuses to provide.
Live action movies become Paramount. The rumor mill is even hinting at the explosive return of Michael Bay.
The ghost of Mr Starscream poses a question to the team. Follow your new leader and Ask the Twincast something yourself!
Counterpunch continues the interrogation of the cast members, deciding who is guilty, who is innocent- hoping that all will be fed to the Sharkticons.
We wrap up the episode as we always do, with a robust round of Bragging Rights.

Walmart's distribution kicked it up a notch this year by having massive displays of their exclusives for collectors in stores. While the fanbase has been in an uproar over Michael Bay possibly returning, there has been nothing officially announced by Paramount regarding that as they might not go that direction. However, we now have confirmation that they do plan on releasing more Transformers film in theatres in the coming years. At a media event, the two new leaders of Paramount, David Ellison and Josh Greenstein, said they plan on releasing 15-20 movies per year and some of those films will feature the following franchises:
Top Gun
Star Trek
G.I. Joe
Terminator
Star Trek
Transformers
World War Z
Notice how both Transformers and GI Joe are mentioned, meaning that crossover film is not dead yet. These are all in the live action space so still no plans for more TFOne theatrically under this new administration.

He was found, along with Seaspray, at Walmart in Canada. Distribution seems to be pretty good for this line in Canada so far.

Seibertron.com just leveled up our gallery game with three new additions to the Console Crossovers category under Takara's Miscellaneous section! These awesome figures mash up classic Transformers characters with some of the most legendary gaming hardware of all time:
They might not have come out under the original Device Label or Music Label banners, but they feel like spiritual successors — carrying on that same cool idea of turning Transformers into real-world tech. Just like those Label toys, these console crossovers blend nostalgia for both robots and retro gadgets in a way that is pure fun.
These drop right on the heels of our recent Transformers Collaborative x Sonic the Hedgehog galleries, where Blue Booster and Wingtail brought some high-speed Sega energy into the mix. Together, they show just how far Transformers can go when crossing over into the gaming world.
Big thanks to my brother-in-law v-tron for hooking me up with Sega Genesis Megatron almost 10 years ago. It’s not every day a family member surprises me with a Transformer I don’t already own!
Dive into the full galleries of these Console Crossovers by clicking any of the images below!
